Way back when EGO first came to home depot I was so skeptical about a battery push mower being as good as my old gas push mowers. I don't think I've ever been more wrong. Thia ego stuff list beyond impressive. You boys have a great channel. Don't let anyone in the comments tell you otherwise.

I realise that zero turns are not good on anything over 15 degree slope.... I'm hoping this is different - any ideas? Can it handle 25-30 degrees? I'm guessing (hoping) ego might be working on something 4wd for thse with undulating properties

I got it last weekend (they only just started selling them in Europe), and it's been pretty great on the first cut. I do wish we'd get a 4x10Ah deal like you in the US. Instead, we only get 10+5 Ah. Fortunately, the store where I bought it offered 4x4 Ah extra for the price of 1 Ah. But with 31 Ah, I needed about 180% of battery (almost 2 full charges) to do 4 1/8 Acres. I think it's best to get big batteries with it to prevent degradation and mow with the most power.

Now for your yard you can save a whole lot of money, first of all get you some pelletized lime fast acting at a rate of 1 ton per acre and if you have a sprinkle system or able to water your yard you can reseed now. If not then Aaron after 45 days get a long time to soak in and receive this fall and you will have a pretty gone next year also September October and December apply some 10-10-10 fertilizer, and you will have a beautiful lawn after that lightly line it once a year as long as you put the grass clippings back you shouldn't have to worry about putting more fertilizer..

That's cool how once you go full speed, the sound of the Ego mower is replaced by techno dance music. Must be some crazy speakers on that thing. Just one more way I can annoy my neighbors.

You should do a shootout between the 1) Ego 48" battery Zero turn 2) Greenworks 48" battery zero turn 3) Ryobi 48" battery zero turn 4) Ryobi 54" battery zero turn 5) Cub Cadet 48" battery zero turn The only advantage I see is the Ego has batteries you can pop in when the ones you are using runs out of power to keep mowing and the rest only have a limited run time that once the battery is dead you have go stop mowing and go charge before you can finish mowing.

I have this mower. I absolutely love it. There was a firmware update. I bricked my mower. Update failed multiple times. Finally was able to get mower able to use again. Update never did finish. Leaving it for now at least it is functional

Just like battery push mowers your maintenance cost is going to be new blades once or twice a year. They need to stay very sharp.

I need ego to make the same mower with a 56" deck with the same dual blade set up like the select cut. Another thing would be handy if it came with 8 batteries

I Have EGO battery mower, been using it 3 yrs but now it has gone dead. I don't know anything about electricity and if I take it to be repaired I am sure it will be very expensive. With a petrol mower, it's easier to diagnose the problem.

Needs a basket attachment on the back so you can go to the local grocery store or another seat to take your partner on a date.

The zero turn mower needs a front mount snowblower. I would buy 1 then.

You should mow your lawn at around 4”. Probably part of the reason it looks bad. Even a bad lawn looks pretty decent when you leave it long.

I find your reviews to be biased. Watching each of the Ryobi videos and now the EGO. EVERYTHING is great... even tho so many have had issues with chargers and batteries. How can we trust a review when it seems so fake and paid for?
