Today I wanted to share with you my most anticipated books of 2023! As you might know, I LOVE the horror genre, so all of my most looked forward to books revolve around the spooky and the scary. I am hoping to review all of these books on my channel as the year goes on and will definitely be adding more books to my 2023 reading list, too!

All Hallows is one I want to get, I loved Dead Ringers, very good book. September here though. Great tbr list 😁

I love a long video! I am so excited for How to Sell a Haunted House! I really hope it will make me fall for Grady Hendrix all over again, since I wasn't a fan of his two latest. Here's to hoping! :)

I'm really hoping I enjoy it. I really did not like The Final Girl Support Group and I'm really hoping he goes back to his old, more humorous style of writing.

The only Fracassi I've read was the short story collection Beneath the pale sky (i thought I got it through Nightworms...but maybe it was Abominable). I LOVED it ...and short stories are usually a miss for me. I'm not sure if it is still there, but netgalley had Gothic, I just haven't gotten to it yet

I actually own Beneath The Pale Sky from Night Worms, too! But I have yet to read it since I hesitate to read short story collections, but I'm going to bump it up on my tbr now since several people have mentioned how great it is!

Philip Fracassi has become one of my top authors (if not #1) this past year. GOTHIC is an awesome throwback horror ride and A CHILD ALONE WITH STRANGERS was my top read last year. I read it twice and already want to read it again. Looking forward to your thoughts on these!

I just recently bought A Child Alone With Strangers so I look forward to your thoughts. Most of these are on my own list to read 😃 I am also really looking forward to Spite House by Johnny Compton, Episode Thirteen by Craig Dilouie, Mothered by Zoe Stage, Pinata by Leopoldo Gout, The London Seance Society by Sarah Penner, Graveyard of Lost Children by Katrina Monroe, The Reformatory by Tananarive Due, and Silence of the Dead by Simone St. James (which is a rerelease).

@@violetprynne A GREAT place to start. As I'm sure you've gathered from the reviews, it's part horror and part police procedural/thriller. It's very well done, and hope it's your first 5-star of 2023.
