I've had 3 xke's a 1967 Maroon conv, a 1971silver coupe & a 1970 silver con with blk hard top (1970's & 80's and am looking a a 1974 XKE conv.) Also had 2 XJS's...The first XKE I totaled & worked with my Dad to restore it...Nothing like a Jag...

Wow. Damn! Nice. In Colorado, in my early 20's, I found a repair shop that seemed to only have E-Types (and other?) old Jags (a parking lot full of them). I always thought they were so cool. I found out where he lived and saw he had another 6 or 8 on the side of his house. Doubt I ever saw a V12....... that's so nice.

I prefer the purity of the series 1, but i'm sure the latter car is better to drive. Here in the UK we have two firms that reimagine these. Eagle and Evolution. I have filmed some of these at our London Motor Shows.

Series 1 is more beautiful and Jeremy C. R. Clarcson said the series 1 was faster because V12 engine in series 3 was too heavy for this car
