Well Skaven produce vast armies on Legendary that can ambush you quite easily, and Snitch is a genuine nightmare. Also don't ignore the Skaven plague: The only plague that actually hurts in a campaign. The Empire is more so about the concentration of armies they can bring, most factions could tackle that, the Ogre economy makes their armies very limited. As for the Dwarves....the dwarves have very powerful melee units, ranged units and early artillery. They have very tanky lords and heroes. For a player you are screwed playing them because their economy while good can't keep up and recruitment slots, replenishment terrible. The reason that makes the dwarves a nightmare to fight is that on Legendary the benefits the AI gets heavily favors them: Low costs, low upkeep, insane growth, high recruitment slots.

And those two are even compatible as it seams... at least i watch a capaign at a KZfaqr where he uses the old world with SFO and it works so far for 7 hours.

@@g0lgrim1 dude I’ve been playing them all day since this morning. Try it if you haven’t already it’s pretty cool. You can create an artificial crisis to smash into whatever ultimate crisis! Currently fighting super buff Archaon and a ultimate crisis of Orks and skaven, and I’m Lizard Rambo with full possession of Albion. It’s fucking epic!!

SFO and OW feels like a pretty slick 100% vanilla overhaul as apposed to Radious which is more appropriate as a gateway to 60+ plugins.

Has SFO been fixed?

@@snap4936 yea, you can also use rollback from steam. Mixu had an issue with old world though, not SFO

Yep, one patch fixed it and removed the Slan mages and yesterday there was a miscellaneous goblin bug patch.@@snap4936

@@snap4936 yes it’s pretty good, I’m about 18 hours about 142 turns into a campaign using old world map. It’s really fun! Just turned Archaon into a early- mid game crisis to keep things fun but the sonafabitch held his ground and now the ultimate crisis of vermin tide and ultimate wagh are smashing into his empire it’s crazy how he’s clapping them back while I’m just sniping everyone, everywhere, all the time using Oxyotl and the totality of Albion as my main base. This is what the game should have been!
