And the atn will stop working in a few months. I just had to deal with this lol. I supported atn but now my scopes that are just about a year old and never used on a firearm have died. I now bought 2 agm scopes and this helmet mount model.

Cool! i will look into the BTI-10 Monocular since I have a good chest rig and set-up but yet need a good helmet to mount an night vision optic onto. Thanks for the review US!

If you have both the thermal and night vision devices mounted on a helmet via that bridge do you just use one at a time? I wouldn't think that actually trying to look through both at once for stereo vision would actually work well, would it?

I'm not an expert in it but I know people run both night vision and thermal devices at the same time and I believe they train to switch back and forth between both eyes, not trying to focus on both screens simultaneously.

What aiming devices work with thermals? Holographics such as an Eothec? Red dots? Iron sights?

What are you talking??? How do you want to look trough glass with thermal? Which red dot or scope uses anything than glass? And do you boil your iron sights? How are they supposed to immit a thermal signature? Wtf? Just use a thermal scope with digital crosshair if you want to aim under thermal so hardly. Or do it like every other normal human being. Look through your thermal and if you see the target you aim through your Night Vision device (PVS-14, RNVG etc.) using your EOTECH or IR laser.

How well does fhe bridged set up work for you? Are the 1x images different sizes for you? Are the sizes lopsided in any way? I'm hoping to have both be the same sizes so if there are any overlaps the object I'm seeing have the same sizes displayed

The spacing on these units doesn't work well on the wildgameplus bridge for me personally, unless you mount them at an angle outside of the main channel they are designed to be screwed down into...

@@UrbanSurvivor Not enough of an angle facing away from each other? I'm hoping to have thermal(TM) having a continuous overlap(OL) with nightvision(NV) of the same size. But reading the specs it seems like they're different fields of views, different output screen resolutions, and possibly different screen sizes? How I want it to look: [ TM [OL] NV ] Not ｢tm[oL｣NV ] If you know what I mean lol

The did make a bti 30 but infortunately its not helmet wearable, only handheld at this time.

Does it have something like a hybrid thermal setup ? I'm holding out for something affordable where I can get the nightvision with the thermal overlay. The only decent options are still way too expensive for me where the ones that are considered budget friendly are pretty trashy

@@MrSpeedFrk No, for something like that nits gonna be stupid expensive as that is pretty new technology. With this kind of gear it holds value a LONG time, and advancements in tech are slow

@@MrSpeedFrk You doesn't need more than the ODIN 320. Everything above that is just cosmetics and nice to have. But nothing with more capabilities than every other thermal with 19mm lens. Night Vision with Thermal overlay is extremely cheap nowadys. J-14 + Jerry C2. This is a PVS-14 NVG with Thermal overlay for just 4k. There are stand alone PVS14s without thermal for 4k. So its extremely cheap and will never get any cheaper. Even in 20 years.

Yo you should try 2 cr123a batteries instead of the 18650 it will turn into 6 volts instead of 3.7 volts lemme know if you have any difference

@@travislupumWhat? This would be the worst option you can get. The thermal from the video is way better. The Flir breach has a 9mm lens. The NVG10 thermal has a 15mm lens. Both are extremy bad. But 9mm is unsuable. 19mm is the absolute minimum. Like on the iRay ML19 The best Allrounder is 25mm

@@UrbanSurvivor is there a part in this video where i can see the lag in real time? so where i can see both the screen of the unit + what is happening behind the unit? if i would buy one of these it would be for a helmet mounted option. and would use it to navigate my way on farm yards to spot and hunt rats so lag for me is a big thing.

You would navigate with your night vision (PVS14) on the right eye and on the left eye the thermal for observation. But you look only trough the thermal if you need to. Thermal is for observation and night vision for navigation. Why do I even feed the troll...

I’m really excited to see how running duals w the nvg 10 compares to my other duals …. I’ve always thought the nvg 10 was pretty cool esp for the price but I think because of the one eye thing you’d notice the tiny bit of lag a lot more than you would w them as duals

The lag's pretty negligible, not a big deal when walking. The FOV is crazy small though, so if you run dual 10's it will still be narrower than a single PVS14.@johndaviddoesmith4504

@@ShamblesDoctor yeah I found the bridge and got a second ten just figured id have it to hand someone and have a cheap set of duals for Airsoft or paintball …. What’s the deal with the thermal? Is it worth the money ?? Wondering if one ten and it wouldn’t be a good set up at the least for an overwatch type spot, or looking for hogs and such
