Now, as my mind caught hold upon this thought, I cried within my heart: O Jesus, thou Son of God, have mercy on me, who am in the gall of bitterness, and am encircled about by the everlasting chains of death. 19 And now, behold, when I thought this, I could remember my pains no more; yea, I was harrowed up by the memory of my sins no more.

Speaking on rapid fossilization, I don't remember all the details, but I'm sure it can be found on Google. There was a deep underground mine that had gotten flooded, I believe, a few decades ago. It was a pretty major tragedy, because quite a few miners had lost their laves in the sudden floods. After just a couple of weeks, when the waters had finally either receded or had gotten pumped out, the mines were being searched to recover the bodies of those lost in the mines. It was discovered that all of the wooden supports beams in the lower parts of the mines were completely fossilized. It absolutely baffled those who had discovered it. It only took roughly two weeks to turn the wooden beams into solid petrified, or permineralized beams

@@stevepierce6467 there has been evidence to the contrary on multiple occasions, yet those examples are just considered a mysterious anomaly and disregarded, as opposed to factoring that data into their theories, because that would force them to change the narrative. Science is constantly changing, proving previous science to be flawed. Yet, somehow, every new discovery that doesn't completely align with mainstream science receives so much push back and categorically separated from the mainstream theories and just called a, "mystery," instead of being thoroughly investigated and factored into the current date to consider the possibility of new theories

@@gtdetan It is called evidence. It is called actually studying something to figure out how it came to be instead of taking someone's word for it. It is called honest investigation instead of dishonestly cherry picking data to fit a preconceived narrative. See... Science actually cares about finding the truth about things. When a scientist gets an answer that doesn't fit, other scientists will come along and call it out as fallacious, and a new answer will be sought through thorough experimentation. It isn't even one area of science that determines the age of canyons. It is multiple fields of study completely independently verifying the ages. Noah's flood is a myth. It is actually a retelling of other flood myths that came before the Noah story. Not only is there scientific evidence that shows the world didn't flood 4k year ago, but there are records from civilizations that exist through that time frame that were not wiped out by a flood. There is a lot more evidence against the creation story than there is against the Noah story so AIG is just dishonestly cherry picking data to force fit it into the Bible, but it falls apart under any honest degree of investigation.

In Christianity, the Bible is considered the "Word of God," and there is much to find about this topic in scripture. The Bible is called the Word of God, meaning it can be considered a direct line of communication from the Lord, divinely inspired by the authors of the respective books. If the Bible is truly God’s Word, then we should cherish it, study it, obey it, and fully trust it. If the Bible is truly the Word of God, then it is the final authority for all matters of faith, practice, and morality. If the Bible is the Word of God, then to dismiss it is to dismiss God Himself.

I came to the idea of a rapid disruption of Pangea when looking at underwater contours. Atlantic looks ripped apart quickly then slowed down for the mid-Atlantic Ridge to form. Pacific looks like a crumple zone on a car after impact. So maybe Pangea (one super continent, low hills at most)... The Ark (animals able to walk to Noah)... Earth ripped apart (tsunami flood) Tectonic mountain creation and mid Atlantic Ridge formation... Tectonic motion is rapid then slowed over time(migration of animals to "origin continents")... Look to the underwater contours and see if things don't match.

_Another consideration is if millions of years was spent making fossils all over the earth, there should be millions of years of humanity within the same remains_ No, because humans - homo sapiens - is not millions of years old. Moreover, for most our our known evolutionary history, our numbers were very small, and geographically limitted. Which is why human fosisls are very rare. And made even rarer by humans engaging in burial rituals. Even the earliest humans did not tend to leave dead peopel wherever they died.

The problem with that line of thought is thinking that our species has actually been around for that long. We haven't. Anatomically-modern _Homo sapiens_ have only existed for 300,000 years, and _H. sapiens_ in general not much longer. Humans as a specific evolutionary lineage, ie. genus _Homo,_ have been around for a little under 3 million years. I grew up on a farm that had an artesian well. We understood that the water pressure of the ground water and elevation slope was the cause. This lasted until in its infinite wisdom, the city allowed two farms to be sold for housing developments, removing a good bit of the top soil, adding 50 or so additional wells and septic tanks; and suddenly, there was no more artesian water. Ten years later, City decided to annex the area, and add another development - resulting in NO well water and forcing the city to install water and sewage piping as well as storm drains, as paving prevented the former water absorbing surfaces from doing so, and thus replenishing the ground water, resulting in periodic flooding.

Atheists have become much more vocal and militant in the last 20 years or so, I think it has to do with pride, they went to college, paid their dues got their degrees and in these last days their pride in these things has really increased. We are promoting the Biblical record and this record comes into direct conflict with their authority as educated degreed scientists, how dare we question them as they are authorities in these fields, this is really what this boils down to, their authority and education is being brough into question. Before we can even get to molecules to man evolution, we need to start with cosmic evolution, the big bang and then the solar nebula theory, in a big bang cosmology, the big bang is said to have only made three elements, Hydrogen, Helium, and a little bit of Lithium, for everything else you need stars to make the rest of the elements. Stars fuse Hydrogen producing Helium, and Helium into Carbon, an so on until Iron, once a star begins to make iron it is that stars death nell, all the rest of the elements after iron are said to be made in super nova explosions. In a big bang paradigm, stars are fundamental for life, as they created the elements needed for life, thus in a big bang paradigm explaining star formation is very important as we need stars to make the elements of life, even the noted scientist Dr. Carl Sagan said "we are star stuff" Fair Use Star Formation Neil DeGrasse Tyson said, "We Know the cloud wants to Collapse under its own weight to make one or more stars. but rotation as well as turbulent motion within the cloud work against that fate, so too does the ordinary gas pressure you learned about in High-school chemistry class, Galactic magnetic fields also fight collapse they penetrate the cloud and latch onto any free-roaming charged particles contained therein restricting the ways in which the cloud will respond to its self-gravity The scary part is that if none of us knew in advance that stars exist, front line research would offer plenty of convincing reasons for why stars could never form." [Neil DeGrasse Tyson, 2007, pg 107] Death by black hole and other cosmic quandaries. New York: w.w. Norton and co. Eva Novotny said, “The process by which an interstellar cloud is concentrated until it is held together gravitationally to become a protostar is not known.” [Eva Novotny. Introduction to Stellar Atmospheres and Interiors, p. 279.] Martin Harwit said, “Literally hundreds of ideas on how stars are formed have been advanced in past decades. However, we are still far from any real solution.” [Martin Harwit, Astronomical Concepts, Second Edition. p.405.] Martin Harwit said, “The universe we see when we look out to its furthest horizons contains a hundred billion galaxies. Each of these galaxies contains another hundred billion stars. That’s 1022 stars all told. The silent embarrassment of modern astrophysics is that we do not know how even a single one of these stars managed to form. There’s no lack of ideas, of course. We just can’t substantiate them.” [Martin Harwit, Book Review in Science, 7 Match 1996, p. 1201-2] Charles J. Lada and Frank H. Shu said, “The origin of stars represents one of the most fundamental unsolved problems of contemporary astrophysics.” [Charles J. Lada and Frank H. Shu. The Formation of Sunllke Stars. Science, 4 May 1990, p. 564.] Ward D Thompson said, “The formation of stars is one of the most fundamental problems in astrophysics... No current model can reproduce all of the observations.” [Ward D Thompson, Isolated Star Formation: From Cloud Formation to Core Collapse, Science 4 January 2002: " Vol. 295. no. 5552, pp. 76 - 81.] V. Trimble and M. Aschwanden, “The formation of galaxies and large-scale structure remains TMIUPIMA. . . "the most important unsolved problem in modern astrophysics.” [V. Trimble and M. Aschwanden, Astrophysics in 2000, Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific, 113:1025-1114, 2001 September] Roger A. Windhotst, as quoted by Corey S. Powell said, “Nobody really understands how star formation proceeds. It’s really remarkable.” [Roger A. Windhotst, as quoted by Corey S. Powell, "A Matter of Timing" Scientif‌ic American, Vol. 267, October 1992, p.30] Having planets for life to form on is also paramount, so explaining their formation is also up there in importance. Fair Use Formation of Planets Martin Harwit said, “Once these planetesimals have been formed, further growth of planets "may" occur through their gravitational accretion into large bodies. Just how that takes place is not understood.” [Martin Harwit. Astrophysical Concepts. p. 553] J. Blum and G. Wurm said, “The formation of planetesimals, the kilometer-sized planetary precursors, is still a puzzling process.” [J. Blum and G. Wurm, The Growth Mechanisms of Macroscopic Bodies in Protoplanetary Disks, Annu. Rev. Astro. Astrophys. 2008. 46:21-56] Jeff Cuzzi said, “How the first stage of this process, primary accretion, works is a fundamental unsolved problem of planetary science.” [Jeff Cuzzi, “Planets: the first movement," Nature 448, 1003 30 August 2007] John Chambers said, "Objects must have grown very rapidly from sub-metre-sized pebbles into 100-km-sized bodies, possibly in a single leap.” [John Chambers, “Planetary science: Archaeology of the asteroid belt," Nature 460. 963-964 20 August 2009] Anders Johansen said, “How this process continues from metre-sized boulders to kilometre-scale planetesimals is a major unsolved problem: boulders are expected to stick together poorly, and to spiral into the protostar in a few hundred orbits owing to a 'headwind' from the slower rotating gas.” [Anders Johansen et at, "Rapid planetesimal formation in turbulent circumstellar disks," Nature Volume 448 1022-1025 30 August 2007] We cannot even get to molecules to man evolution because we have no stars nor planets for evolution to start, no stars no elements for life, no planets no place for life to start. However, the creation model works just fine.

The flood was a natural and supernatural event. Humanity would not have been able to survive if God had not intervened. The Flood of Noah’s day (2348 BC) was a year-long global catastrophe that destroyed the pre-Flood world, reshaped the continents, buried billions of creatures, and laid down the rock layers. It was God’s judgment on man’s wickedness and only eight righteous people, and representatives of every kind of land animal, were spared aboard the Ark.

@@KenJackson_US You are not listening. There is absolute correlated history (and biblical) timelines from ~1187 BCE downwards from Egypt times. Backwards, it is proven that the Exodus happened 207/1206 BCE. Horemheb "A" the (said) pharoah of the Exodus, with sibling brother Merneptah, were the grandsons of Ramses II the Great. There are granite pillars on both sides of the Red Sea, where it is (said) the Exodus took place. Also the black obelisk of Merneptah (actually Horemheb "A") states that they were glad to get rid of the Israelites. It is Horemheb "A" father of the only son Horemheb "B" who died in the Exodus. All of this is written up in Ramses II the Greats tomb, with a painted genealogy on the wall. Historians and theologians have schmucked the 18th and 19th dynasties as successive, WHEN THEY WERE COLLATERAL (with the Tuthmose and Amenhoteps of the Nile Delta). The actuala enslavement (minimal wage jobs and construction industry) was onlyi 89-92 years in length. The book of Exodus and Leviticus mentions the parentage AND AGES of Moses' fathers. Moses was born during this time, 1287/1286 BCE. It is known history that the Nile Delta was taken back from the Sea Peoples, Hyksos (Eastern Hebrew) and Habiru (Abraham's Western Hebrew) in 1295, 1292 BCE. There was NO 400 years enslavement !!! Dating all this back, Abraham was given a prophecy at AGE 100 (1587/1586 BCE) about his descendants. Abraham was born in Western Europe 1687/1686 BCE. From there it can be traced that Noah, his 3 sons ages, the Flood happened ~1987 BCE. Stop the stoopid statements, and listen up ... I'm trying to teach you something. Correct history and correct biblical timeline. This also massively rewrites and corrects wrongful Egyptian history, dynasties, and timelines of ancientness. Also the Israelites came from Canaan, down into the Nile Delta, under Joseph, and lived in the eastern Nile Delta of the land of Goshen. It was the Tribe of Judah and Tribe of Levi who intermarried with the nobility and royalty of these 2 Egyptian dynasties. As such, the Tribe of Judah lineage has namesaked proofs. Judah had, by Thamar, sons Zara (Osiris) and Pharez (Horus). Pharez had son Hezron (Osirion). Hezron marries with the Theban Egyptian Ramesside dymasty, and has namesaked son Ram (Ramesses). Ram marries with the Nile Delta Egyptian Amenhotep dynasty, and has namesaked son Amminidab (Amenhotep). Amenhotep marries again into the Nile Delta Amenhotep IV (Anhkenaton) family, having son Exodus Prince "Nashon" of Judah being the Hebrew namesaked after his mother "Asenenaton", the daughter of Tutanhkamon. Grecian-Egyptian historian Manetho (Amenhotep) records that the Zara-ites left the Nile Delta 150 years before the Exodus (1207/1206 BCE) ... 1357/1356 BCE. Some 60-65 years before the Nile Delta enslavement by the Tutmose and Amenhotep dynasty. They scattered and became the new nations of the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, and Europe. Heman (King Minos of Knossos Greece, Linear B Hebrew put onto the ol Minoan Linear A language), Dara (Darius, Thor of Germany), Ethan (Odin of Scandinavia), Gymry (Cymry of Cimmerians, Gomers of Russia and Central Arab Republics region, and the Cymry of Wales, proto-British), ... and Chalchol (Kulkul Khan, Chalchol the Great OF MAYAN AMERICAN fame). Your theory about plate tectonics isn't exactly 100% accurate according to Genesis 1. If you can imagine a solid sphere of land under the water and God called forth after the opening of Genesis said that darkness was upon the face of the deep and the spirit of God moved across the waters. When he calls forth the land breaks underneath and rises. This is why it looks like it should have went together like a puzzle. There are a few other items in Genesis 1 that reinforce my faith such as the fact that light exists here on Earth because of our atmosphere. If you had a ship and were to travel between the Earth and sun and viewed with the naked eye in between the two bodies you would see darkness. You would think you'd see light but unless you're looking at that big ball of flaming gases directly you don't see light. The rays travel through space and once they hit our atmosphere or more precisely the water molecules in our atmosphere that refract that light then we have sunlight here on Earth. If you saw Felix Baumgartner's jump from the edge of space here on youtube in that Redbull challenge he did, you'd notice as he's rotating that it's dark then light then dark then light but it's not light when he's facing space unless he looks directly at the sun. Instead all of space is dark and when he's turned back toward the Earth then it's light. Genesis 1:6-8 is the 2nd day of creation and God creates atmosphere. Remember too that it didn't rain then. It wouldn't rain until the flood in 1656 so what was the purpose of dividing the waters? It's talking about atmosphere and the water molecules that were in the air or as Genesis 1 calls it heaven. Also it describes Eve's creation and that God put Adam to sleep and opened him up and took a rib then closed him up. Sounds like surgery to me. Lastly, Genesis 1 gives us DNA record as God uses a rib to make Eve which sounds almost like cloning but God had already done the hard part making Adam with his X and Y chromosome. With Eve He only needed to isolate and duplicate the X Chromosome to make the female counterpart void of a Y Chromosome. Had he made Eve first then believe it or not making Adam would have required new material as she did not have the full DNA to create on her own man genetically speaking. With God all things are possible but from a genetics standpoint it was easier to make Adam first and use his DNA to make a help meat. Lastly, I'll leave you with this: We all have a mother and father. They had a mother and father and so on. If you were to trace it all back there is a common ancestor we now know through DNA mapping that we all share. Every human on the planet is related. Now science thought they'd be cute and call these people Y-Chromosome Adam and Mitochondrial Eve. They believe that the two though didn't exist in the same time period and they're sort of right. You see the Bible says that Noah and his three sons along with Noah's wife and his three son's wives were the only souls who survived the flood. Depending on how closely related the three daughters-in-law were to each other and to Noah himself would depend on how far back toward Eve pre-flood you have to go to find the closest common ancestor while Noah and his three sons sharing the same DNA would have been the male line not Adam. The female side may actually go back closer to Eve. Oh back to everyone has a father and mother. So there was a 1st man and woman then we know this because of DNA. Where'd they come from? No matter if they were homosapien or some other homoerectus and we can have a discussion about the Tower of Babel then as God changed folks and scattered them across all the earth, ever wonder why there are bears on nearly every continent? Why they look different and don't match up with DNA? How about that Ark too that couldn't hold all the species we have today of animals. No unicorn but the Bible mentioned it. So if there were less species did God change them too and scatter everything during the Tower of Babel? Again this is speculative because the Bible doesn't say outright. I caution anyone who recounts my crazy theories to remember their place and Revelation 22:18-19. Don't add to or take away from that book. Tell them some nutjob named James who's son named his youtube account some other name said so. :) There has to be a God because there had to be something that didn't have a beginning that made the first man and woman otherwise you have a paradox. If Adam and Eve weren't the first then there would still have had to be a first and that would have had to have come from somewhere. Science wants you to believe there were as many evolutions that happened to similar subjects dozens or more times for each ethnicity that exists/existed on the earth and that from those "evolutions" came man from the cradle of civilization either North Africa or Mesopotamia which the Bible says as much about the location and that they walked depending on their now ethnicity to different corners of the earth, some crossing an ice bridge they still argue for in some circles. The Bible says God did it and he did it at the same time. Considering that common ancestor seems God's got this one a lot more believable than some magic evolution and trek theory. Also, in some Bibles there's a pilcrow between Genesis 1:2 and Genesis 1:3. For those who don't know a pilcrow is also called a paragraph mark or marker. It shows in this case a text transcribed by King James' scribes in Old English that there is a new paragraph starting at verse 3 but why? The purpose of a paragraph ending and a new one beginning instead of running on is because of a change in the subject, place, idea or time. The subject is still creation. The place of that creation is heaven and earth with special emphasis on the earth itself. So why is there a new paragraph? Well, this one is gonna be a bit hard for some folks to understand and many are going to disagree without fully giving this idea a chance and I want to say before I continue that this is speculative but given the evidence seems to be not only plausible but most likely. You see the Jewish day doesn't begin at midnight or even in the morning like ours does but instead at sundown of the previous evening. Why? Because God said let there be light and there was light and God divided the light from the darkness and the evening and the morning were the first day. The darkness came first so this isn't poetic license when it says the evening and the morning were the first day. So God created that first day "The heavens and the earth"....let me say again the heavens and the earth. We're talking about everything with exception of life on this planet. He created everything in the first ???24hour period? Really? Then it took him as long to create man or animals? You're saying he created in the same amount of time the universe and frogs. It took God as long to make a dog as it did Pluto. Here's an idea, when did time begin? Did it start being counted before or after God made the clockwork that is our solar system with the sun in the center. So when again did he make light? Verse 3 says He said Let There Be Light. He'd already created the heavens and the earth before he created light. So did God create the heavens and the earth on the first day or before? ;) It's a crazy world, I'm just living in it. Thanks for reading and God Bless.

This is really good but has a major flaw. I am speaking as a Geologist Geophysicist, Physicist and a Retired Missionary. Everything you posted is true but there is a flaw in it. Also, the bible deals specifically with this flaw as most over look it or do not even think it applies. I point this out as I became a born again believer after reading this in the bible. You see the earth is like 4.5 billion years old. That is fact and not fiction. If any creationist tries to say the earth is just 10 to 12 thousand years old, you will get busted big time and there is absolute proof that the earth is older than that. Secondly and more importantly, there was more than 1 global flood in earth's past. Yes, there was a flood roughly 6000 years ago. But there was two earlier ones as well. This is truth that can not be denied. Lastly, Fossil record. This is a more subjective area and the weakest of all the arguments for Evolution. However, just like the flood there are multiple periods of different life forms that are separated by each flood event. This is problematic for Creationists who is not knowledgeable to counter it. What is the real timeline of earth needs to be addressed so that creationist can stand solid and not contradict known provable science and adhere to what scripture actually says? In this case, I do not have to get into much of the evolutionary arguments if you understand the true timeline of events given in the bible. Hint, the earth is 4.5 billion years old. Scripture does not contradict this! It is a matter of careful reading of the scriptures and understanding exactly what you are reading and how it applies and falls. The scriptures have places which add information here and there that expand upon the Genesis account. You pointed out one from Psalms. There is another in the Book of Job. However, most creationists are severely and shockingly ignorant of the one in Jeremiah. In Jeremiah 4:23-28, is a visionary verse. It is specifically talking about Genesis 1:2! What is interesting about it is this? Jeremiah sees the earth without form and void. Notes how fruitful places are a wilderness and so forth. Then Jeremiah makes a comment that Man and Birds are not seen alive or dead! Kind of an important factoid. However, Jeremiah sees destroyed cities. What does this mean? So, in Genesis 1:2 the reason why the perfectly created earth in verse 1:1 is suddenly without form and void according to Jeremiah is God destroyed it out of his fierce anger. Modern man and birds are recently noted in the fossil record and not found anywhere else. So, if their was humanoid creatures in the in the past, God destroyed them. This answers the fossil record of these 500k year old bones of humanoids that Creationist really have not been able to address out of ignorance. It also addresses the fossil record specifically that of Ordovician period fossils which is the go to evolutionist fossil record proof against creationist. Jeremiah crushes the evolutionist here. In fact, Jeremiah's vision absolutely destroyed anything the evolutionist bring forward today and anything in the future. The problem this bring to the evolutionist is the bible points out to multiple creation and destruction events of earth! These destruction extinction events are in the fossil record. If the bible accounts for it, then the evolutionist no longer have anything useful to bring to the table. They immediately become a debunked branch of science! If you have more question just ask.

Good thing you are a retired missionary...why be a stumbling block for others. Read Exodus 20:11 God made everything in six literal 24 days and rested on day seven as an example to keep the sabbath holy and for man to rest one day out of seven. God did not rest for millions or billions of years on day seven. The Bible provides a clear genealogy of Adam to Abraham and Jesus the Christ. This is how we can determine that the age of the Earth is a little over six thousand years old. Those believers trying to shoehorn deep time into the scriptures are denying /warping God's word...and there will be an accounting for it.

@@alantasman8273 Seriously, you insult rather than comment. So, sad. Secondly, what I stated does not negate Exodus 20:11. The earth was created from being made Null and Void in 6 days. That is fact not fiction. However, you insult God with your position. It is sad that you are still on baby milk or just another non christian and bringing your insults. You should read VERY CAREFULLY Romans 14: 1-12. Perhaps you can grow more if you are a Christian. If you understand fully what Paul is saying when you read this type of info when someone brings truth to the table, then you may understand what may be ignored or covered up by mainstream scholars who do not want to admit certain truths or simply did not know for whatever reason. Many Seminary Schools are teaching and promoting blasphemy. The sheer number of so called Christian leaders who write lots of books are rejecting Christ at an alarming rate. The newest trend by top Seminary Scholars and teachers is to say that that an All Powerful and Omnipotent God does not exist. Rather, God is a generalized term for Aliens who founded earth like a colony. Seriously, that is now being taught in several Seminaries at the graduate doctoral level.

I am not sure where you are getting there was a global flood 6k years ago. The only way I see you coming up with that is by ignoring evidence that counters the flood claim. Evidence I would think is known to any Geophysicist who isn't a quack. There are formations in Earth that form only over millions of years in dry places and would have been wiped out by a global flood. There isn't enough water to flood the entire world. There is no evidence of water coverage in the ice core layers of Antarctica. The list goes on. The idea of the Ark is also impractical. There are a bunch of physical limitations that go against the idea that a wooded boat held 1.8 billion creatures for a whole year. How did any of the creature unique to Australia get to Australian? Why don't we have any fossils or evidence of Kangaroos in the Northern Hemisphere? To answer these questions, you have to completely abandoned science and just straight into God miracling it all. I, myself, spent some time trying to scientifically justify the Biblical accounts, but it doesn't work. Either the Bible is wrong about it or God manipulated physical reality to make it seem as though the Bible is wrong, which seems rather dishonest for God. I think the better lose to take is that the Old Testament isn't a literal account, otherwise you are left to question the integrity of God.

the abiogenesis view proposes that the first life forms did indeed arise from non-living chemical precursors through natural processes, gradually increasing in complexity over time. This is the predominant scientific perspective, supported by evidence from fields like chemistry, biology, and evolutionary theory. Researchers have proposed various models for how this transition from non-life to life could have occurred, such as the RNA world hypothesis, the iron-sulfur world hypothesis, and others. These explore the potential chemical and environmental conditions that could have enabled the emergence of self-replicating, metabolizing entities.

@5:27 '...and that pulls the rug right out from underneath the millions of years concept...' Not really. First notice he says the flood explains 'most' of the layers of rock we see....so not all. What he needs to explain are not the deep flat layers of sediment but rather inconformities where rock layers formed...ie sediment was laid down then hardened into sedimentary rock...a process that takes many years, THEN due to movement of the earth's crust, those layers were upended AS SOLID ROCK and then worn off and new sediment was laid down on top of those worn off upended layers of rock and THAT new sediment itself turned to sedimentary rock (many more years) and then IT wore down until we see BOTH rock strata...the more recent rock that is still horizontal AND the rock strata that was upended. THAT cannot have happened in a 1-yr flood, nor even in the few hundreds of years between creation and the flood. The only explanation would be that that is how God created the world, originally. That would mean God intentionally created the rock layers to appear ancient and he would have known full well that is who they would be interpreted.

Go to the Answers in Genesis website and find that article titled "Chalk it Up to a Global Flood": "hot volcanic waters and nutrients changed the water temperature and chemistry, which caused the rapid blooming of foraminifers and coccoliths in just hours, days, or weeks, not millions of years." And here's a key question from that article in response to the evolutionary explanation: "How could so many large ocean-dwelling and land-dwelling creatures get buried together in ooze on the ocean floor in the past, when this is not happening today?"
@jonathanrussell1140
@jonathanrussell1140 4 күн бұрын
@@creationmission7907I'm sorry, is this a serious answer to my question? I suggest you examine the geology of the South East of England, figure out how all the different layers of chalk, clay, greensand, Wealden clay and Wealden sandstone to name but 5, were all laid down in a particular order, then pushed up above sea-level and then subsequently eroded away so that each of those layers is exposed from North to South in your stupid biblical timescale. Or if you can't get your head around how all these processes happened and how the chalk of France was subsequently separated from the chalk of England by the English channel, you might want to Google a far easier refutation of the bs Hebrew Global Flood myth, namely the Chinese Flood Myth, which had people escaping raging torrents by climbing trees or fleeing to higher ground. Then you might want to study geology for a bit. I can assure you that if there are any "Answers" in Genesis, then they are all wrong. Sorry.
@jonathanrussell1140
@jonathanrussell1140 4 күн бұрын
@@creationmission7907there are no Answers in Genesis. There is only pseudoscience. I can disprove the Hebrew Flood *myth* using the Chinese Flood myth. Look it up. And you still don't come close to describing how the geology of the South East of England came about. The chalk was formed on top of a layer of clay on top of a layer of greensand sandstone, on top of Wealden Clay, on top of Wealden Sandstone. All of these layers and a few lesser intermediate ones between were pushed up from being concave layers under the sea to a convex dome and then eroded away to reveal each of the layers. Starting at the Weald of Kent and working outwards to the North and South you find the same geological strata, culminating in the North Downs to the North (which form the white cliffs of Dover) and the South Downs to the South.
@jonathanrussell1140
@jonathanrussell1140 4 күн бұрын
@@creationmission7907you need to work a lot harder than that to explain the erosion that happened to the chalk and lower layers of clay, greensand sandstone, more clay and Wealden sandstone pushed up from under the seabed into a dome shape which then eroded so much in 2000 years that all the settlements of Kent, including Canterbury, with its Celtic origins. prior to Roman invasion around 40AD, could be established where they remain to this day. The geologic strata of Kent and Sussex repeat either side of the central Wealden sandstone. Sorry. It didn't happen that way. There was simply not enough time to cause that much erosion. So No Answers In Genesis, I'm afraid. BTW, I don't need to watch any of their bs, to know that the Chinese Flood Myth disproves the Hebrew Flood Myth. And then there's the Heat Problem, significantly more than the "hot volcanic waters 😂" you describe. Enough to vaporise the earth's granite crust, several times over and fry the ark and all its inhabitants to a crisp - that's if they hadn't already died of methane poisoning due to inadequate ventilation. Some 60 years ago after being taught basic geology, biology, chemistry and physics in Jr High and the first years of High School, and having finished reading the Bible for the 3rd time, I became an agnostic. For some 50 years there after, I investigated the religions of the world, both past and present, as well as a number of what are generally referred to by most Christians as "mystic cults" - if they are feeling charitable. I also continued my studies in science, resulting in college degrees in Biology, Chemistry and Electronics, and a profession. Now, after all those years of study, I have determined to MY satisfaction that the foundations of ALL religions are attempts by primitive humans to explain what they did NOT understand about the world around them, particularly death, and that there are NO supernatural beings, either God, gods, angels, devils, demons, or any other beings, capable of changing the laws of reality, that there is NO soul, which means that there is NO life after death, resurrection, reincarnation, or karma. To put it bluntly, the Universe is completely random, there is no "meaning" to life other than what YOU as a person put into it, and share with the other living beings around you. As an objective morality: “A particular action or choice js moral or right if it somehow promotes happiness, wellbeing, or health, or if it somehow minimizes unnecessary harm or suffering or both. But if you are wrong and have repeatedly rejected God because your professor told you to, you will be lost eternally. Imagine believing that (or example) we can disassemble a tiny cessna, put the bolts and everything on top of a bomb in a pile, then detonate. And boom, we have a well assembled flyable plane. Not to mention the millions of lines of code in the avionics. Explosions do not create order, they create disorder! And that is a major issue for this Big Bang theory that evolutionists are forcing on everyone as the only fact. In fact, you need about 4 perfect big bangs each accomplishing a different stage in evolution (nothing to something antimatter to matter and then life). How did non living matter become living? Where did that life "energy" come from? My suggestion to you is that you humble yourself, because you do not know everything. Creationism is a THEORY just like Evolution. WE.DO.NOT.KNOW! Allow both both sides to put forward arguments and let people independently decide what makes better sense to them. Don't bully people by calling them archaic just because they do not hold the same beliefs as you.

About the genealogy of the bible. Is that observational science, or historical science? Are the six days of creation observational science, or historical science? The heat problem the evolution believers always bring up is so easy to explain. When they tested air bubbles in amber it shows the atmosphere had double the pressure. When air expanes it causes cooling like spraying an arousal canister. This expansion of the atmosphere would absorb this heat. Also they calculate the heat by using a 40 day rain cycle that covered mount everest when the Bible clearly says the flood came from the fountains of the deep bursting forth and that the mountains formed during the end of the flood from the waters being ejected from under the earth causing voids which would collapse in on themselves causing an up lift in some places..walt browns hydroplate theory explains this very well and he is a reliable source having a phd and working for the military and if you disagree with him then you hate our military 😊

All were led along by Gods Holy Spirit,his invisible force or power, to write down his words for all mankind to read over 16 centuries. Many were unknown to each other & from different regions & countries. There is only one Author,God Almighty. The writers were used as a secretary dictates for a Boss. When the letter is received,all understand the letter is not from the secretary, but it's from the Boss. It has been preserved even when enemies burnt people at the stake for having or translating a Bible. It has survived no matter what has been thrown at it. Could be a change in the value of the velocity of light. That would change the rate of radioactive decay. The first light in the universe didn't come from stars. It predates atoms. It appeared at about 300K years after the big bang, and stars didn't form until about 500 million years. The first light appeared at all places in the universe at approximately the same time.
