I served in the usmc from 1973- 1981 and when I had my final medical exam. I was told that I have scoliosis. It is now classified as a disability. You mean to tell me the marine corps tortured me for 8 years, and I have to fight for my benefits? It's been over 2 years sence my case went on the docket.

Great information. I have been experiencing back pain since I was in the Army until I couldn't do sit-ups for my annual PT test. I had profiles for that reason and have it in my medical files. I already had 2 back surgery and a sacrem to my right hip joint. Nerve pain filtering to my right leg. Can these surgery be used as evidence for back disability?

My disability rating was raised from 60 to 100% for individual unemployability in 2010. My back has gotten worse. The othe conditions I has to add yup to 60 have gotten worse, I have secondary conditions to most of my conditions. And I have new health issues that disable me. But, until just a few short months ago, I never considered trying to get my rating raised. Then I started seeing all these videos like this. Even on the VA website, theres alot of new info and some offer help doing it. Have I walted too long? And where should I start

Hello, I applied for disability compensation for 2 back injuries while on active duty in the air force and 1 while on active duty with the air national guard, I did a have a back injury while training for pararescue that I never sought treatment for due to the stigma of seeking treatment (all of them were lower back injuries). I was denied service connection, I have appealed (3/22) the decision and am waiting for a video conference with a judge. I want to put in a claim for back pain while I await the appeal, my VSO says NO. Can I make that claim?

question for anybody here... i filed claims for my back and knees they found 3 things with my back...1-mild multilevel lumbar spine degenerative ...2-upper spine mild multilevel disc space narrowing...3-small schmorl nodes through out and small anterior endplate herniating osteophytes...and in my left knee -patellar enthesophytes...right shin still gotta get MRI x-ray said underlying bone lesion...for the back are these all considered separate issues which would make for separate ratings??? or will I even get a rating??..I did range of motion test moving forwards and leaning back are painful and I do have loss of motion especially on flair up situations and pain every day in the lower back.....Im just a little nervous from all the horror stories I hear about the VA lol .... thanks

At my MEPS physical they said I had scoliosis (sway back) Through out my 10 years active duty I had unmentioned chronic back pain. During A-school I had an episode that was deemed a pinched nerve 2 years into active duty. I was stationed at special boat unit 20. My job was a chief engineer in small speed boats. We did lower back damaging exercises 2 to 3 hours a day. Flutter kicks, burpees, mountain climbers, 8 count body builders, sit ups. We ran in jungle boots. 4 years after discharge I filed a claim for lower lumbar strain with bilateral leg pain. The claim was denied. I went on with life. For the last 20 years I have been to multiple doctors. 2018 I had back surgery for my back problem which is DDD. 30 years ago it was just a strain. Fused L3 and L4. This is a long story trust me. My question is should I be changing this claim to a new claim request? Or can I Pursue this claim with a supplemental claim and get back pay?

I reported my mental health doctor and nurse to patient advocate, they got caught abusing my rights, I have lost all trust in these so called mental health doctors, the nurse mocked me serval times in front of staff and other patients and the doctor made the statement " I am tired of these people coming in here trying to get disability, I wrote a statement and requested it be put into my file.. I am a 70% veteran for back and with radiculopathy and TINNITUS 😵. What should be my next move? I refuse to see that doctor and nurse again. I learned that the nurse was suspended once before
