Thank you for making this video. I had starting problems with my volvo d13 and I did alot of work on it to try to fix it. Changed the fuel pressure valve, valve on the davco fuel filter, fuel pressure sensor nothing helped. Then I thought I have a cracked fuel line so I put air in my fuel tanks to create a pressure and see if it would leak anywhere (and there was no leaks). The last think I thought it would be injectors because I changed them 60k miles a go. So decided to change the injectors again and that was the problem. Change those valves and sensor first because they are pretty cheap and and you can do it by your self. I mind upload video how I did it. I hope this will help someone. Have a great day!

Thank you very much.I had a same problem on my 2017 D13 Volvo VNL 780.Took me 5 months to figure it out where is the problem and finally mechanic resolved it last week.It was the Kill Switch that causes the problem.When we replaced kill switch it was perfectly fine with ignition and no lights and messages on the dash board . Hopefully this review was helpful to other drivers who watch this vide klip

I have my 2017 going to the dealer now been towed for the same issue we took it before to a different dealer they did and update to all the computers and was working fine for a few days only and problem came back we show them your video lets see tomorrow what they say will tell you after thank for the post really helpful .

Get a good mechanic and just take that kill switch out of your truck. Good drivers don’t need kill switch, otherwise you will be spending money again and again. Injector cups and battery kill switch is the main problem in Volvo.

Love how drivers think they know the most common problem with any type of truck. Volvo is my favorite as a certified diesel technician. I'd say the problem in this video isn't even in the top 50 most common problems. I'd say most common problem is blowing the abs fuse under the hood. Due to most trailers having too many lights inside the box. The abs runs through the aux and so do the interior box light on most trailers. Circuit cannot handle the load.
