My biggest issue with Jorgeous's win was not the outfit itself because it was cute, but it definitely shouldn't have won over Angeria's or Lady Camden's or Willow Pill's. Daya Betty even. There were just way too many looks that were detailed and better than that literal cookie cutter bathing suit.

The fact that Gottmik won a ball in an outfit that was thrown in the trash by the crew because how it looked should say everything.

Honestly, the reason AS2 and AS3 have very few, if any controversial wins, is because they have 2 winners! More reason to go back to that old format. It allowed more queens to get recognized.

Sonique winning the acting challenge and not Snatch Game in all stars is yet another in a long series of completely mismatched storylines.

As Bob has said, RuPaul wants to SYSTEMATICALLY destroy Jan. “Oh. Jan never won and we’re gonna give her a win? Make her rob a win from an iconic season’s redemption moment.” Jan got what she thought she wanted, so she can’t complain - but the show set it up where her moment was robbing someone else of theirs. Very “Devil Wears Prada” Emily not going to Paris tease.

I think the Anarstarzia Rockaway puffer and Utica's sleeping bag are tied as the biggest robberies of any design challenges across all seasons and int'l combined. Also both (especially Utica's) would be easily in the top of ALL work room designs made by a queen over all franchises and US versions of the show. Periodt.

I think the reason why most people, don’t like the fact that Jorgeous won is, because other queens have been read to filth for making a Bra, Panty and Piece of Fabric combo, yet she was praised and given the win, for a look that would’ve landed someone else in the bottom two, so I personally feel like she should’ve been safe for her presentation, but not any higher as it’s a basic look that anyone could make.

The most controversial win for me was when Ru eliminated everyone on All Jans and crowned herself.

Looking at the still Camden's outfit, it does look messier than I remembered but regardless I think Angie should of took that win.

I think Sharonne's talent performance in DR Espana 2 may have been misinterpreted by those unfamiliar with the work of jazz legends Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald. She used that puppet because she was doing a vocal impersonation of Armstrong (who was also a genius trumpet player-- hence why the puppet is holding a trumpet!) while performing the song "Summertime". Armstrong co-wrote and co-performed the original version of Summertime with Fitzgerald... whom Sharonne also impersonated. Sharonne won because she did an impersonation -- with unbelievable accuracy -- of a duet with two different singers in one performance, and she did it LIVE

I think the AS2-AS4 format has always been more interesting than the Assassin format... maybe there should be a 3 episode buffer at the beginning of an All-Stars season where no one goes home... but I love the drama of a shock Elimination... there's a great tension with those seasons... Tatianna being robbed twice made her more legendary... Dela sending herself home was iconic... Manila getting the chop made her the ultimate robbed queen...

I feel so heard. Pandora did sooo good in the acting challenge

I still can't believe that Sasha Velour didn't win the makeover challenge in Season 9! It was amazing. Trinity is fab but she made a leotard....!

AS1: Latrila winning the photoshoot challenge over Rujubee; Shad winning the makeover over Yarlexis 3. S7: Violet winning the Design challenge over Kennedy 4. AS2: Detox winning the rusical over Roxxxy 5. S8: Kim Chi winning the Design challenge over Acid Betty 6. S9: Trinity winning the Design challenge over Sasha or Valentina 7. AS3: Shangela winning Snatch Game over Aja 8. S10: Mayhem winning the Design challenge over Monique 9. AS5: Shea winning Snatch Game over Jujubee 10. AS7: Shea winning the talent show over Raja 11. S13: Kandy winning the roast over Gottmik or Rose 12. S14: Bosco winning the panel challenge over Deja 13. S15: Loosey and Luxx winning the comedy challenge over Salina Side rant: Jorgeous SHOULD NOT HAVE won that challenge. That was literally put on at the last minute. How Maddy and Jasmine, who at least had constructed looks, were in the bottom, IDK. Jorgeous and Kerri, whose outfit was half-finished, should've been in the bottom. Jorgeous' was not a safe look, it was lazy and bottom worthy. Jasmine's was a cute, safe look. Maddy's may have been bad but at least it was a dress, she was low worthy, not bottom worthy. I also don't care if the wings were uneven or whatever, Camden had a CONSTRUCTED look with actual thought put into it, and she made it out of a FUCKING KIDDIE POOL!!! She was the clear winner with Angeria and Willow or Daya in the top.

Gia not winning the talent show and not even placing top still hurts my soul. I was mesmerized and i'm not a fan of Gia at all. That was the turning point of absolute riggory for me. I've known the judging is all bullshit ever since. Mamma cannot suspend my disbelief no mo.

Ngl, I think Sharoone 100% deserved that talent show win but Sethlas (and pretty much that entire cast) did amazing and could’ve easily won.

The part that confuses me is that Gia would have fit the pattern of having a low placing or "early seasons" queen win the first challenge, something they have done since AS2, with AS4 being the only time they didn't do it. It would have been fine with Gia and Trinity or Mo'Heart and Gia, and because they didn't go that route, we end up with Monique and Trinity lip syncing together twice. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it would have added variety to the lip syncs, since that format tends to repeat pairs of queens frequently. It was just a missed opportunity, and I think it would have increased the tension with Farrah Moan, having Gia's win hang over their comments (and then Gia naturally getting her comeuppance in the third episode).

Bosco winning the drag con forum challenge while deja killing the challenge and runway should be in this list.

Ginger wasn't on the top for the talent show. It was Pandora, Ra'Jah, and Yara.

I definitely think that, now on the RuPaul hosted seasons of Drag Race, the ball winner is being picked based on, the entire presented package of looks, that’s why Gottmik won season 13s ball, because the judges preferred their first two looks over Utica’s.

The patron question creates two new brilliant videos tho - people who should have been saved/ shouldn't have won bcos of runways. And people who's performence in challenges should have excused their runways (made them win/loose)

I can’t disagree with Gottmik winning because it was the ball challenge. Even if Utica had the best final look, Gottmik had the better overall package I also can’t say I disagree with Jan winning the halftime show. Her and TKB had the best performances of the week, had it been top 2 format? They would be Lipsyncing against each other, but it wasn’t. Between these 2? Jan had the better runway between them, it was the ruffle runway and Jan had that saloon runway. So I see why she won. Plus this was the Rusical of the season, so the storyline played out perfectly. The stars aligned. Not to downplay how good TKB did because she was nipping at the win so closely

I remember Rupaul’s issue with Utica the entire episode was her not modeling on the runway correctly. Like she kept acting way too goofy. That plus Gottmik having very strong first two looks I think justifies her win of the whole episode…despite Utica’s amazing last look.

I would've included the Rajah vs. Scarlet lipsync on season 11. It was controversial during that time and still until this day. For a queen whose dancing skills isn't their strongest, she definitely surprised majority of the RPDR fandom and really showed she wanted to stay in the competition.

I think the thing about runway winners is you can have access to great designers and have the money to pay for them but that does not give you taste. honestly season 3 of españa is like half way done but there are so many examples of wrong people winning episodes: Pink Chadora for the choreo over Clover, Pink Chadora AGAIN over hornella in snatch game (which as a spanish person i think was so much funnier understanding the references), Pitita in the rusical over vania, bestiah or hornella…. Pitita over pakita in the acting challenge (more controversial i guess but pitita did have some justification to win but i do believe it should have been pakita)

One I'm really surprised didn't get mentioned at all is Bosco winning the drag con panel challenge over Deja. While I thought Bosco was funnier, Deja was a better moderator and was the only person on that whole runway who understood the assignment. Other "honorable mentions": Sasha Colby winning the interview over Luxx and Loosey, Lawrence winning the news improv over Awhora, and honestly Roxxxy's win in episode 1 of season 5 over Lineysha who still gets mentioned for having one of the best design looks of all time. Who even remembers what Roxxxy made?

What people don't understand about the talent shows is that it is about entertainment. I was entertained by Trinity's and Gia's was not necessarily titillating. It was beautiful but just not as exciting as Trinity's in terms of getting a crowd going.

One that wasn't mentioned is Soa de Muse in the talent show, France episode 1. Don't get me wrong, I love Soa and her talent show was amazing, but to me Lolita Banana had the best talent show of every franchise
