Former Tory leader Sir Iain Duncan Smith tells Julia Hartley-Brewer that the nation faces the "most dangerous time" since the 1930s, making it an imperative to increase defence spending to combat "an axis of totalitarian states", made up of China, North Korea, Russia and Iran.
Under questioning by Julia, Sir Iain says this axis has coordinated attacks to destabilise global geo-politics, "we need to face up to the fact they are against us, they are against the concept of democracy".
Julia Hartley-Brewer asks former Tory leader Sir Iain Duncan Smith who the next leader of the Conservative Party will be.
Sir Iain: “I think the Conservative leader will emerge as somebody that wasn’t part of the guilty parties that helped lose us this election.”

@@ChiefWizard666 I never understood how Labour could just reinvent itself as New Labour. Surely you believe what you believe and cannot just change your beliefs just to win power. Likewise with the Tories. I have seen what they believe for the last 14 years. If they tell me different more in line with what I believe coming up to the next election I won't believe them because they told me all that for the last 14 years and did something different

Making a remianer Tory Boss is just what Nigel wants. Tory will be reduced to 10 - 50 seats at GE28. Kemi backed Sunak many times. Only Suella & Jenrick & IDS are trusted by ReformUK's 4M voters & the 8M Brexiteers who stayed home. Only 5M Brexiteers voted for Sunak whilst holding their nose.

For 14 years the Tories behaved like a liberal party or even a socialist party. They held a referendum (that I wanted) to save their skin and when they lost refused to implement the result that their voters wanted. The Tories refused to act on all forms of immigration. Nothing will persuade me now that they have changed and suddenly want to do all the things I have mentioned. Reform is the future for me. Its not worth taking the chance of the Tories actually doing the things they say they will. They didn't for the last 14 years so they won't in the future

Which is that Nigel is in charge, it's his party, his company, he is the chairman of the board and the majority shareholder. That's the deal when you join Reform, everyone knows it. He did that to avoid the cat-herding experience he had back in UKIP. Ben is a cat, not a herdable beast. This is a political army, with a commander-in-chief, designed to recover our country. Citizens are free to vote for it or not, nobody is forcing them. Ben was the dis-united one, trying to foment a mini-revolution on day one of parliamentary break-through. Amazing IDS talking about democracy reform got over 4 million votes and only 5 seats and the Tories got less than 7 million votes and 121 seats. Worse still the Liberals got 3.5 million votes half a million less than Reform and they got 72 seats and the SNP only got 375k votes and got 9 seats. There is no democracy in the UK

Just a reminder, 80% of us didn't vote for starmer, considering that there is according to the supermarketsz at least 77 million of us, that's a huge majority, one i wouldn't be so eager to piss off more than they already are.

Tory emails talked of 'Birmingham and Chingford' when referring to Bellingham and Kane. Strange that Chingford produced a surprise Tory win in the GE, isn't it????
