I really wanted to love the new Kate Spade outlet donut bag. I called the store near me and had them hold one. When I got there and held it in my hands, it looked like something I would find at Walmart. No where near the $450 price tag.

Great topic. I remember you being surprised when you saw the inside of my Suhali agenda. It was very different. The Louis Vuitton cosmetic pouch is topply and never seems to play well with other SLGs in a bag. The Keepall in epi leather was a mess. Epi is durable in bags but was somehow a scratch magnet in the keepall and the speedy. Epi should really be reserved for structured bags. The LV key holders always have keys sticking out and don't handle a car fob well. For me guitar style straps won't stay on my shoulder. I really have to try a shoulder strap before committing to one. The LV Artsy for example wouldn't stay on my shoulder no matter what I tried.

I’ve learned I don’t appreciate a flat pouch/wristlet, it’s just not a preference! However, I adore my trousse. It’s my daily makeup bag, it sits on my counter. Enjoyed this video

You must try the Gucci Ophidia pouch. You can pack it to the gills and it never loses its flat pouch shape. Another tip the Epi leather does give up its shape to eventually fit whatever you’re fitting inside. I had a Neverfull pouch and I packed it, I loved that pouch and regret turning it in during the glazing issues of 2018-2019. Epi leather is stiff but it will stretch out like any leather.

I'm with you on maintaining the shape of flat pouches, so I just put a small notebook and pen in mine or use it to hold receipts. What I hate more are notebooks that are bent from other things in my bag and losing receipts.

I sooo agree about the pouches I sold all of mine, I use a small mesh pouch I got at TJ Max in a set as a makeup bag, it’s lightweight, flexible and washable Hope Paul and the pets are well 💚

So sad you had an embroidery issue with the Fendi baguette. I have it in a different color way, and it’s perfect. That tote with the multicolor is GORGEOUS! So upset it wasn’t great quality!

I use the flat pouches for extra credit cards and my passport and i use the square pouches for lip gloss or lipstick and a compact, powder or mirror 😊

I think that’s the smart way to do it, flat things in flat pouches. I’ve seen so many people use the pouches as bags to carry bulky things. No problem if that’s what they want to do, it’s just not my style.

A really interesting selection. I have a flat pouch from Oroton and for a couple of years after I bought it I did not use it for the reasons you raised. However, once I started using it as a catch all in bigger bags for the wallet, keys etc, I found that it worked really well and i now get heaps of use. It was not expensive either which is a plus! Thank you for the video!

I love this video, so interesting to hear about luxury regrets/disappointments. I agree w you about the thin pouches being stuffed and bulging out. Pretty sure the idea behind them was for paper work not everyday essentials. I also prefer a pochette accessories instead. That is crazy that you purchased the denim bag for $500. They really up charged those things!! If only we have a crystal ball for these things! My luxury regret was the LV Favorite (original) and I'm not sure why. It just didn't quite meet my expectations.

Great video and so many of these disappointments I have experienced myself. You just don’t know until you take the bag out for a ride. I have an Alma, BB and a speedy BB I love them they’re adorable, but my hand gets scratched on the zipper because the bags are so small.

It’s a pain when the zipper opening is too small on bags and scratches your hands. Super annoying.

All great examples, Autumn. The flat O style pouches I use to carry my phone. I don’t like carrying it in my hand, and while I could slide it into a pocket inside the bag, I feel safer having my phone in it’s own little pouch. The Fendi baguette was a disappointment to me too. I thought it was gorgeous and would have been disappointed had I bought it and then had to send it back. My biggest disappointment was the balenciaga city bag. I ordered it preloved, it was black with the standard size gold hardware and I was thrilled when I got it. Until I carried it. It was no fault of the bag, but I soon discovered a) guess I’m not much of a hobo fan. Which seeing as most of my bags were and still are structured satchels, I should have had a clue. b) And I hated the way it just puddled to the floor when I set it down. c) And lastly, the stupid strap with that thick middle piece that is supposed to keep it on your shoulder annoyed the heck out of me and wouldn’t stay on my shoulder no matter how hard I tried. I wound up giving it to my daughter and she loved it so it was still a win. But it was a bag I had hunted for months and months and it broke my heart.

I agree with the pouches and Epi leather bags. The epis are too stiff for me. Funny though, you influenced me to buy that Fendi tote and I actually use it more than the NF. My heart was broken when you sold that denim LV bag! Oh the Alma BB is my biggest disappointment. It’s a fuzzy bag. I think because I’m a crossbody girl and I’m sorry the Alma is gorgeous as top handle only.

Hi. My biggest regret selling a bag is original YSL bag, because it had a scratch on the front. It was the old style designed by Yves with back pocked in a v shape design. 😢

Okay, this totally went somewhere different than I thought it was going. I also thoroughly enjoyed it. However, how do you not like the Chanel O-pouch??? I love it to keep my cards in. I don't have a lot of credit cards, but I have a lot of rewards cards from like quilt stores and stuff and I love to put them in, along with a chapstick and maybe a little container of medicine. I just really like them. :-)

Well since you asked....Honestly yes you are a "little crazy" LOL I wasn't going to say anything but you did ask! haha I have had more than a few disappointments too. I remember when you got that LV Pleaty, too bad that didn't work. Now the new LV denim pieces are soooo expensive!

I bought a Dior purse. The leather came dented inside as the zipper is too big and left a mark. I was too lazy to return it as I have been pining for the wallet for a long time. Guess, just have to live with it 😢

I think on the luxury totes they seem the straps are too thin. Not think enough. But, I can't afford those ones. Still for the price I would think a stronger strap would be better. It's a tote, lots of things are going to go in it.

The bottom of the denim pleaty is rounded so a base shape wouldn’t work.

Not too many really. I guess my biggest regrets is buying contemporary bags because I didn’t want to pay luxury prices only to find all I really wanted was the luxury model and after spending and loosing money I now heave the luxury models and love them.

Yeah, that’s always a dilemma. It’s difficult to resist the urge to spend so much less on a similar bag but once you know that about yourself you can make more informed decisions.

This one is probably on me, but not looking closely at sizes. Sometimes dimensions are in cm and not inches and my attorney nonmath mind can not compute, sometimes the way it's styled on the model, I don't even look at the dimensions because it looks much bigger than it is and I find that that what has arrived is much smaller than I had envisioned and it's a disappointment!!!
