First of all well done to all conservationists for their dedication & human kindness, as fo me, yes I have had & still am caring for birds & animals whenever & where ever I am in the world. I remember one time on the Isle of Man in the U.K. I claimed down the ladder on a harbor wall to rescue a full with a large hook in her beak. Another time in Cornwall I rescued a kitten from a harbor wall at sea level where she was clinging to some barnacles. Just a couple of the rescues I've had the good fortune to be in the right place at the right time.

So little HUMANS left on Earth doing such HUGE rescues for the sake of HIGHLY Persecuted and Endangered Animals ALL around the world. BRAVO and BRILLIANT work to ALL of you!

We’ve freed multiple hummingbirds. Very gratifying. Some had to rest a few of them and put their beaks in a feeder to get their energy back. Most of them were successful.

Why do some give accolades , oscars and gold medals ETC to meaningless people who do nothing for the actual planet ?? Yet are CONSTANTLY on planes and vehicles telling us to save the planet and NOT to TAKE such vehicles OURSELVES ?? Yet rescuers hardly get mantioned at all ?? Heroic *SHOUTOUT* To ALL the rescuers . 💖💖👍😁👏

Prayers to all who went through that, those that help with clean-up, and the volunteers watering and feeding! I live in Florida where hurricanes do damage. At least you don't have flooding to make it worse!

Maybe for monitoring this animals as some might not last that long in their environment but they should NEVER hv been IN Captivation . Who r we to do this to beautiful animals. God's creatures. I helped a sparrow nearly frozen who had crashed into my front door. It was mid November and very cold a few years back. I called the Natural History Museum to know what to do. I kept him warm inside with a towel wrapped around him, made a pile of leaves as instructed when released after he had warmed up. After he nestled in the pile of leaves a couple minutes for a little extra warmth he flew to my next door neighbor’s fence, turned around, chirped at me like a thank you then flew away. It gave me a high knowing I helped that bird.

I once had a tiny lil baby side winder rattle snake that was found in the city. It was so cute with its little like horn eye brows. He was so very feisty & would literally strike at EVERYTHING!!! He was lightning fast too. I had to make sure he could eat on his own before I released him back to the wild waaaaaay out in the booonies. He was pretty awesome. I really like that lil booger. LOL
