3:20 that one got me the most, that kid was disabled. He tried so hard just to hug his dad. Oh my god I didn’t realize how he was walking until the moment he was about to be picked up by his dad. That’s incredible and so emotional.

I remember coming home after being deployed to Iraq back in 2019-2020, surprising my mom was one of the most fond memories I will ever have. She's no longer here and now that I am stationed in South Korea and having no one to go home to feels different. Wish she was here to see what I have done this far and just talk to her.

These make me so emotional. My oldest son’s goal was always to be a soldier. He’s been gone in the Army for almost three years now (next month) and has only been home twice. I’m so proud of my combat medic and thankful that he surprised me for Christmas two years ago with my own coming home video. He hasn’t been home for the holidays since then. Me, my husband and our three sons and daughter at home are missing him so much it hurts, but we’re so proud of him. God bless our heroes past and present. ♥️🙏🏼🇺🇸💙

@London Darby-Coleman do you need help for preventing your problem? I have suffered from depression since last year. I have planned to kill myself on my birthday last year and it was hard for me. You may have lost your father on your birthday, but I have lost 15 people within 3 days. Life can have tough times, but that's why just enjoy every second of it, killing yourself is just like throwing yourself in the trash. I have suffered from the same like what I said. But I am enjoying my life. If this comment didnt help, just call the NSPL (National Suicide Prevention Lifeline) for help. Stay safe mate.

when i was in 1st grade, my school was having a career day, and i was kinda pissed that my dad couldn't come back because he was on deployment. at the very last one my teacher made me go in the front of the line, which confused me. we walked into the room, and i just started crying when i saw my dad. one of the happiest and most reassuring moments of my life. (this was 6 years ago)

I lost my father 11 yrs ago,but still i miss him desperately,i remember when i was a kid and how desperately i waited for him he is not a soldier but he works for family like every other fathers ,and now i am a father of a girl and i tried to give him such moments that she always remember.

I know how it feels since my brother left from the military when I was 4 years old and surprised me this year,he was gone for 6 years and I never thought i would see him again,thanks to all the soldiers that has served the military.

My dad was a British soldier, I’m still waiting for my surprise from my dad, he never made it home, I’ve always hoped it was all a terrible lie. It’s been 36 years and I’m still hoping it’s not true and I’ll get to hug and smell him again🙏

When I was two my father was on a deployment for sic months, we had just moved to Hawaii and don't have base housing yet so we were living in the navy lodge. Me, my mom and my brother for six months. I still thank my mother for holding us together through that time. My brother was 4.

I had the honor of being a part of a surprise soldier return. I worked at a beach park and the soldier returned home without telling his girlfriend and wanted to surprise and propose to her. He had everything planned out and had his friends bring her and showed her around. Then the soldier appeared and proposed right there. She was so happy that she jumped into his arms and said yes. It was an honor for me to witness it and I told him how much of an honor it was. I’ll never forget that day.
