My tears are just flowing each one I watch, so emotional...yet I shed a few tears for those who may be watching this whose family didn't make it back home but it's part of the journey 😭

Today was the day that I was reunited with my friend Chelsea who served 12 years in the United States Air Force and she was deployed to Jordan she came home and I saw her for the first time in 17 years after serving 12 years in the armed forces she got off that plane has her we both started to cry and our favorite song came on the Foo Fighters there Goes My Hero cuz she's my hero and I am so proud of her and to all the men and women who keep us free thank you so much for your service to our country and may God bless America and may God bless all of you thank you

The fact that everyday people take the risks and make the ultimate sacrifices for their loved ones is undoubtedly very heartwarming. To me though, the reunions are the key piece to what makes families feel whole again knowing their own has come back safe and sound, sadly though it’s sometimes not the case for others, but it opens eyes and shows them what their loved ones did was out of love and the support for their country. We thank you soldiers, for everything you do! ❤️🫡

Very emotional video. It is heartbreaking to see children suffering from the unnecessary separation from their beloved siblings or parents. Because the moments of reunion shown here are a mirror of what they had to endure in the long time of such unnecessary separations.

When I was in the Navy and returned home from Kodiak, Alaska spending well over a year. I do not recall my father shaking my hand or my mother hugging me. God bless the welcomes I see here.

This Saturday my daughter will be promoted to LTC . Emily, I can't express in words how this makes me feel. She has busted her ass. She is one of the staff members at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. She is the meteorologist there. Has 2 master's degrees in meteorology. I will be there to see her promoted to LTC. Tears are running down my cheeks right now. She was my fishing buddy when she was younger. She has a Great husband an two beautiful little girls, Cheyenne and Arijana. And her husband's name is Montal. Love them to pieces!!😍😉👍😎

I've always said the TRUE heros are the ones who don't come back. An that is way we as Americans not to be proud of those who do come back and give thanks and ask God to bless and protect those who are willing to protect all of us.

I have been deployed for nine months my daughter six now my son is nine in three months to retire, and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with them. It’s so hard sometimes.

My own memory of returning from a deployment overseas was when I shocked the crap outta my sexy girlfriend, who, by the way, was a Virginia State Highway Patrol sergeant. I made a quick very long distance call to her commanding officer to let them know I was coming back. Just didn't want Serena, that's her name, to know. I hid in, OF ALL PLACES, THE INTERROGATION ROOM!! NICE ONE, DEREK!! I left a card on the desk telling her to "look behind you." To say that she screamed louder than a band of Banshees is a huge understatement!!! I thought I would go deaf!!! But, she leapef into my arms, vrying happy tears. The extracurricular activities were AWESOME!!! Let y'all's minds wander a bit!!
