There is One mediator between man and God Almighty…Jesus Christ. Prayers to and through anyone else is idolatry. We are not to worship the created…only the Creator. God Three in One.

It's not the virgin Mary or the saints who save us, nor are we saved or kept saved by our own works. I mean no offense, but it's just the truth that Catholicism is a false gospel of faith plus works that cannot save anyone. Salvation and discipleship are two entirely different things, and almost no Christians know to differentiate between the two when preaching the gospel. Eternal life is a free gift, 100% underserved, that we receive through faith in Christ, in His shed blood at the cross to pay for all our sins, while discipleship is costly, and can even cost a believer their earthly life. If, after repenting of unbelief and putting your faith in the shed blood of Jesus at the cross to pay for all your sins, you choose not to obey Christ's call to serve Him as one of His disciples, you will lose whatever eternal rewards you could have earned, and you open yourself up to God's chastisement for your disobedience, just as an earthly parent must discipline a disobedient child, but you are still saved because eternal life is a 100% free, 100% undeserved gift from Almighty God and not an earned reward for living a Godly life. Mary is just a Human, we already pray through Jesus and pray to Jesus Mary was only used because she had the right lineage. In order for Jesus to sacrifice He need to be in a lineage of priests because only priests could sacrifice :) and Mary had that lineage that was required.

@@augustwest8559 You just reminded me of something my Sister said to me once that made me realize I was repunishing myself over and over again🤦🏻‍♀️for💯nothing. She said; "If you have one foot in yesterday and one foot in tomorrow, you're pis*ing on your today!" 🤭She spoke in layman's terms and was quite blunt and to the point. She believed in the Lord Jesus of Nazareth, was no sinner but always attracted evil people and eventually learned how to rebuke,🙄only too well. That beautiful Sister died of cancer years ago and although she was no Nun I know she's in the Kingdom making the Angels giggle. lol I believe the Lord's forgiveness is endless and if you're that fearful of your past, it's what's keeping you from repeating it as a blessing in disguise. Whatever your haunting past is, remember that it's in the past and I pray you can leave it there in the name of Jesus.

@rinalore9416 I'm haunted by abuse done to me when I was a very young child more then my actions later when I became a adult. I don't know if removing them is the answer I am motivated to do good because of my past. It's a complicated mess. Basically I justified myself to cheat, steal,lie betray other because of what was done to me. I deserve to have a guilty conscience. Maybe someday I'll be free. I accept my consequences and pray for God do with me what he wills. In the name of Jesus
