Whats up man, I had a curado dc on a st.croix mojo bas rod that got stolen a few months ago. Now I have to fish with a abu garcia black max that the drag does not work on… I hope this gets to the set goal and hopefully I win!!!!

My favorite setup is my Curado DC on a St. Croix premier rod. Got my daiwa tatula on my mojo rod. They're both killer, mid priced setups.

You can buy reels for more money than that combo, sadly. I do feel however, this is about the best combo money can buy. St Croix make incredible rods and it's hard to go wrong with any high end Shimano.

I think it’s funny guys that care about brands, I salmon and steelhead in the Pacific Northwest and my arsenal of rods and reels is whatever was on sale that day. Fish don’t care how much money you spent on a rod and reel. That $1200 rod will catch the same fish a $75 combo will.
