So this made me chuckle a bit because you’re an “adhd cleaner” like me. I start in one section but put something away in a different area and then start cleaning that area because you see it’s messy. I literally clean all day and never see a huge progress because I’m all over the place. I lose focus so quick hahaha

I got in the habit of cleaning the fridge weekly. Trash night is the day I clean it out. It’s also leftovers night. I got sick of wasting food. I’ve reduced food waste and it’s working out well now. Food is expensive now with covid. If I have something that is gonna expire soon I whip up something using it up. If I have anything go to waste two weeks in a row I don’t purchase it again. It really helps. It looks great. You busted your butt. ❤️

I remember you asking about whether or not you should redo your floors now or wait until y’all remodel the whole kitchen .. one thing my dad did when he redid his kitchen was just lay a peel & stick vinyl wood floor. Feels just like wood. Easy clean up too. And quick to install. And less expensive

❤️ Thank you. That so sweet. 😊😊 The paint has been very durable so far, no chips so far. We did add felt pads on the bottom of our chair legs because the legs can scratch the paint. But other than that little thing the floors have been perfect.

I live in Arizona and our recycling program for the city is no longer active. If they pick up or garbage and recycle bin, it all goes in the same truck and dumped. You can recycle but the city won’t pick it up anymore.

I cook most days so we usually end up with leftovers and I have a rule that nothing should hang around for more than a week, some things even less than that. You have to stay on top of it though.

Not even half through watching you, as soon as I saw your fridge I stopped got up and emptied out my chest freezer and organized it. I’ve really been putting it off. Let’s just say I need no more meat of any kind, or cheese. Lol only need to get my fresh produce, eggs and milk for a very very long time.

It’s a garbage disposal, purposely for food waste. It has a mechanism that “chews” up the food into smaller particles. Every single restaurant and cafe kitchen has one, and a lot of homes too

It's pretty sad to see most Americans waste so much food. When I make food and it's just me and my husband. If we know we are not going to eat the 3rd day, I just freeze it. When I don't feel like cooking, I thaw that leftovers from freezer, heat it up, and eat. Just a suggestion.

My sister in law threw away everything after thanksgiving. I asked why she didn't save it and she said because garbage day was the next day and she wanted it all gone. She said if I wanted the food that bad, then I was more than welcome to take out the garbage and take it home. I ended up taking 8 bags of garbage and she said well the garbage men will be happy because my cans were already overflowing and there was no way all that garbage was going to fit
