Enhancement shaman was going to be my fav for season 4. until everyone voted for the season 3 tier. Season 2 Tier gave so many more Build options without being punished. the community broke my heart, and took ascendance build away :(

That's exactly how I'm feeling about Destro warlock, so much fun potential ruined by talent location. They should swap either side of the talent tree with all the Soulfire talents so you can choose a Fire warlock build or a chaos bolt spam build. That way they could also buff Soulfire with some cool capstone effects and make it an actual spell.

Elemental on c… the lava burst explosion is top tier nut bust material. Nothing comes close to that feeling of literally exploding and hearing the bass of all those meatballs going out.

I always liked the BFA enha most. Then they completely changed the spec with the rework in N'zoth raid. Lightning crash into SS spam was fun for me.

I think with the return of the Aberrus set, Frost DK (specifically 2H oblit) has the potential to go up to A. Just really loved it back then, and I hated how Chill Streak was forced on me in S3.

The reworked Sin rogue was the most fun I’ve ever had with a melee spec since I started back in MOP. It’s extremely satisfying, feedback loop is perfect, and the damage scales multiplicatively with how well I play it… but then I got into higher keys and remembered how rushed tanks have to play in 25’s+ and how often I would not get a restealth before the next pull (not even taking into account spiteful and bursting weeks being an absolute drag). That shit just feels awful, physically not being able to do AOE outside of my 2 minute vanish cooldown without a restealth. Can’t apply improved garrotes or get the extra splash damage from caustic splatter because everything is buffed when applied from stealth. I’d much rather play feral which doesn’t rely on stealth nearly as much but I’d still get the sneaky deadly assassin dot class fantasy. I just can’t play a class that doesn’t have autonomy on how well a pull is going to go for me, especially as someone that pugs a lot. Having a tank that waits for combat to drop for me feels fucking amazing and makes me love the spec, but playing with impatient tanks makes me wanna alt f4 and I don’t like that feeling!!!!

For Havoc couple of things Shattered Destiny no mover build is close to Inertia in Sims so is Momentum. There is a newer Low Mover Build that is close in Build to the No mover that is simming higher in ST then Inertia. Its the no mover without Essensce Break and getting the Initiative and Vengful Retreat talent you is VR befor your roughly 20ish second Eye-Beam with the DR. For AOE there is a Glaive Tempest low mover build to that does great in Dungeons. Fel Barrage I do wish was better but it was ovef nerfed it needs a slight buff to make it worth taking. B tier is the wrong tier is A tief at the lowest

I'm really sad S2 ele set didn't win. The lightning build was fun and I loved the visuals. Meatball spam is death.

As a lifelong Enhancement main I 100% agree with your take. I love the hard hitting LB/EB finishers but we have like 6 melee buttons that all hit like wet noodles

What plater profile are you using for that havic portion?

Survival was my favorite spec.....when it was ranged (5+ years as ranged survival)! Both of my favorite dps specs (RSV and Glad Warrior) have been removed by Blizz and it's caused me to run an alt army of toons because I either get bored or end up disliking the playstyle of the current "vision".

Fun is definitely subjective. I absolutely LOVE survival hunter! But I also don’t like being stuck with a DPS-only class, so I main a Paladin cause tanking is super fun to me.

Year of the Spear survival hunter has returned. I love having fun with SV....

survival, we playing spearhead again this season, in raids and pvp. they should have add spearhead buff to butchery too, and give the kill command buff a kill cleave so we want to press spearhead in m+. cleave for arms is fun, glad were playing it this season. as a melee zug-zug player i would put survival, arms, outlaw, and ret on S tier. ret and outlaw because of gameplay, arms and survival is just my pure class fantasy bias.

gotta agree on enh shaman, in DF it pretty much became a caster with gains its special resource with melee hits...

My only gripe with Havoc DH is that it plays exactly the same as it did in Legion, just with some number changes. I mean, it's great that Blizz nailed the class fantasy so well that you don't have to re-learn the class every expansion. However, I also feel that it's a bad thing because Blizz hasn't expanded on the class, or (outside of numbers) changed enough about the class to keep it feeling fresh every expansion. I love the DH and don't want to re-learn the class when a new expansion drops, but I would like new buttons to press.

Been trying out Fury in MoP ReMix (my main in ReMix,) but am I wrong or is the spec literally just: alternate between Raging and Rampage, whilst keeping your cds/buffs up? Seems so.. simple?

As a long time Arms main tho I dabble with fury at times can’t wait for arms to get its S1 set again wish the S3 set would have just worked with execute rather then the Sudden death procs it would have been my favorite.

Hello! I'm returning to WoW; the last time I played was during Legion, so all my characters are currently level 50. I'm looking for a frantic and fun class that doesn't require much idle waiting (no downtime, which bores me a lot) or long casting times. That's why I usually play melee classes. What would you recommend?

I’m having an absolute blast with enhancement shaman.

For me Retribution is S tier because I love being able to use blessings, cleanses, heals, battle res etc for my party while having a very easy rotation for both aoe and single target. BUT something that puts it above the rest for me is actually the ongoing story with Tyr and the new Tyr’s Guard, that extra flavor is so cool to me

Man imagine if the drachtyr race had a toggle for being one of the bigger, wider dragons. Imagine if you could play a plate wielding warrior dragonborn.

AugVoker is pretty damn fun indeed, with varied utility and the ability to make some shitty dungeons like Balls of Infusion a lot more comfortable/safe for the grp as a whole. My only real gripe with it is the UI setup, but once you've done that it's smooth sailing

100% agree with you on Elemental… I don’t get the love for constant lava bursts. It’s mind numbingly boring compared to S2 rotation with ele blast, earthquake and ice fury. Way more interesting and fun!

I hated when they pivoted Feral into DoT focus.. I loved it more when it was just just dmg. If Ferocious Bite build is viable, I may have to give Feral another try.. If only Guardian was a dps spec though, it's just so much more fun to play (Thrashes and Mangles.)

What aggravates me most about evokes is not the range limitation. But the race limitations. Like every other dragon can pick whatever race it chooses as its form outside of its dragon form. Evokes…. Meh here’s an ugly looking human kinda form. That’s all you get……. Bruh, lemme choose my race!

As a DK main for s3 and a while before that I have to say you rated DK pretty high. Both specs are overwhelmingly frustrating to play with the reliance on dnd/defile and with defile covering ground mechanics also with their super tight rotations requiring near perfect play and cooperation from the group or you do 30% less damage.

Devastation on the lvl of fun as havoc....you got high before this video lol

Of course this list is subjective, I would put shadow priest in A tier and Affliction in B tier. I also think fury is more fun than arms, but I enjoyed your list :)

Kinda agree. I played Shadow, Demonology, Balance, Feral, Elemental and Enhancement a bit. Most fun for me is def Shadow and Demonology. Balance druid is ok, but a bit boring, constantly spamming wraths and starsurges. Feral and enhancement are decent, but a bit hard to to actually doing a good amount of damage, dont get a lot of fun out of it. Elemental yea is very boring and weird

Tried doing Shadow Priest for a few low keys and LFR. Didn't really like it. Switch back my main, my Ret Pala. It's so fun and I never thought that I was gonna like playing a paladin. What will my 2005-self say seeing/reading this :D

Shaman, the one class in the game that has lightning skills. I know, let's make it use fire. If I want fire, I'll play mage, warlock, or evoker all 3 do fire better than shaman. Shamans should always primarily be lightning and earth attacks. Then augmentation gets a way better earth skill wtf? Its like they took the new earthquake/earthshock animations shaman was supposed to get and gave it to augvoker lol what a gut punch.

The only thing i find with enchantement its not a true melee spec or class its got ranged abilites mixed in im a feral main dk and ww alt im havving a hard time finding another melee to play i went back to dh i couldnt get into it

I was a Surv Main in SL, and it was just painful being the redheaded step-child of WoW specs.. 😅 And then in DF pre-patch with the new talents they added SO MANY extra buttons to the build/rotation, that it was overwhelming for my "boomer" brain (I'm a millenial, lol. But I ran out of feasible keybinds and space on bars even though every skill was a macro), that I quit WoW. Honestly I'd prob prefer Surv more if it had no pet.

My fun dps is Frost DK. I saw it was D rank in DPS lists and that hurts, but won't dissuade me. I'll just make up the difference with timing, positioning, and playerskill.

people greatly underestimate the survivability of a affliction warlock. Especially when leveling i must say 2 decent defensives. Healthstones & Soulstones can insta summon a pet to tank for you and Acess to 3 fears in wich 1 of them gives u a huge chunk of life back even if enemy is immune. I totally agree with you on the giving up part its either aoe or single theres not a hybrid build thats viable in dungeons or raids sadly which is kinda sad Though if u like me have played it for almost all expansions it gets a bit boring after a while but still fun #buffDarkglare

the most fun dps spec is the one you have fun the most with.

As a returning player, having leveled up evoker, Spriest, Demolock. I prefer shadow priest. From a rotation side of things, demo I have not played since start of Shadow lands (had a huge break) and it feels off to me right now.. What I wish they would do with shadow priest; Shadowy apparitions, is the coolest looking spell effect in the game and it feels great when it procs on multiple targets, just wish it had more of a direct impact as well. Mind flay is iconic, but a tiny filler for when everything else is on cooldown, I wish we could have a talent section specifically to either add more tentacles to have more, or let us channel mind flay in AOE to everything that has our dots on it. Obviously on a cooldown system, it just feels like it's potential is wasted as a single target filler based on its epic visuals. Shadow priest has no other spell effects that look good, only souls and flay

some specs and classes are same over years example BM hunt , what changed ? cobra , barber , and kill command? anything else same rotation over years... and my fab spec affli , is just terrible to play , why not have both aoe and single target instead this or this , and the buttons you have to press to actually do some dmg meh

I think survival has the worst talent tree of them all it just sucks and doesn't make much sense but I still love my survival hunter anyway

For me affliction is very annoying to play because it has very limited mobility and many more reasons but I love its fantasy. frost mage in the other hand is very fun to play you can deal with any given scenario and for me its the most fun ranged spec. And for melee frost dk is the worst melee spec imo. its kind of same as affli it has extremely limited mobility and annoying playstyle. and ret paladin is the most fun melee (or is it? lmao) spec. you have multiple strong defensives you have very short cd but big offensive cooldowns and you can keep doing damage even from 15yd range.
