This old mansion was built in 1867 one of Toronto's oldest heritage buildings. Once home to the Massey family. One of the most influential families in Toronto. The family who had it's name on the Massey hall.
The son of Chester Daniel Massey was a famous actor who lived in this mansion. His name was Raymond Massey. Known mostly for his portrayal of Abraham Lincoln who he played on many occasions. The mansion was later the home of one on Toronto's first radio stations which it remained for years until it later became the steakhouse it is to this day.
