The later you go into the season the more important the games become. So I vote LSU as most important. May be the deciding game for both LSU and OU for the cfp

Tenn Qb is about to get hellfire unleashed on him from Ou Dline.. this will be not only the best Dline Ou has had in over a decade but the best secondary in over a decade too! SEC teams are counting on Ou's offense to be the weak link.. when the hell has Ou's offense been the weak link and with this new found D you all are in deeeeep doodoo!

Oklahoma is gonna enter the SEC and shock a lot of the doubters. Hell, they had a good record when playing the SEC teams while in the Big XII.

I laugh at the bad blood hype about OU and Missouri. As a Sooner fan we don't particularly notice them in any emotional way. Just another solid team. In the Big12 they were never an issue either.

Arkansas is way more a rivalry than Misery, everyone wants OU not to be good, since 2000 we’ve been so consistent with the most 10 win seasons, they wish their programs could be as good… hey SEC nation how many losses does OU have at The “Palace On The Prairie?” BOOMER SOONER!!!

I agree Tennessee is the game that matters when it comes to how serious they will be taken. There is a lot of chatter about the O line being trash…. That’s just not the case, they seem pretty stable with transfers just not great at the 2 deep just yet: Some of SEC media seems as echo chamber as CNN

6-6 floor, 10-2 ceiling. It all depends on the offensive line. Defensive line could be nasty.

OU goes 10-2 first year in SEC, with narrow losses to…I know OU fans hate it but, Texas and LSU. I think Oklahoma will bring it against my tide and most certainly against Missouri.

I had us losing to Texass, LSU, and one other. I'll take the two losses though. I can't wait until Bama comes to Norman, it's going to be a fun atmosphere.

Bringing it doesn't equal walking out with a W. Do believe they'll be ready and compete from the jump. If Venables has got a solid O-Line this year I expect Sooners to bring it, no doubt. Gonna be a great Season win or lose Looking forward to my Missouri squad @ Bryant-Denny. Hell of an environment, Pretty stoked to see them match-up in Season. @@Crowns57854 No it isn't. That game we had no QB and BOTH the TE and the RB had more pass attempts than our sorry excuse for a QB. Sure, if ever enter a game with our backup QB being useless, maybe that will happen. But in 100 years of football, it only happened once so far, so don't hold your breath.

Every game is important. Those in the beginning help fine tune teamwork and position strength. Mid-season games are important to set a team up for playoffs, and the playoffs? We all know how important those are!!

I agree with you the Tennessee game will be Big for my Sooners, but I think the first road test at Auburn, will say a lot about the Sooners if they come out of Jordan Hare Stadium, with a win and beat Texas, which is always a chore in it's self, if they can manage a 6-0 start that will definitely turn the conversation around about Oklahoma.

They should swap final games eventually. Missouri finish the year against OU. Arkansas gets LSU on Black Friday every year. Keep Arkansas-Mizzou annual just move it from the final weekend.

The only reason OU will have trouble in the sec is the refs because being new to sec. OU had trouble with Big12 refs last year because they were leaving.

Tenn and SC may be the only 2 SEC teams OU can beat. I think they'll be 6-6 7-5 first season. Brutal schedule ahead for them. They may beat Tenn but will lose their first road game in Auburn.

I'm sure somewhere, some season they did. But by and large, OU has maintained a better roster than most of the SEC, all along. Where we fell short, was with what Bama, LSU, and UGA have done. Auburn ain't Bama. And if you think they are, you should go brush your tooth, and ask your uncle dad what he thinks.
