I've got an ATOWAK Ettore Drift which is basically a homage of the Urwerk 103. I absolutely love it. If anybody is interested in these kind of wandering hour watches with 'architecturally' styled cases but can't afford high horology examples then Atowak has 4 or so between $2-3.5k. Their new 'Spaceship' model is unbelievably cool too. That said if you're after something a little cheaper Dwiss and Xeric are both in the $1-2k range and Olto-8 make one for under $1k.

I think I'd have asked for my money back but then I don't like watches where I can't tell the time at a glance.

Great video and watch; to me it looks like a Centurion helmet. I'd rather have an MB&F, but will never have either so whatevs! Groove on.

Great story (ies). Love the watch. I have been drooling over the thought of owning one of their pocket watches, for many years. White gold eh....you are a very committed and wealthy enthusiast. Good for you.👏

Well done on your purchase, great video thanks. I have never seen this model, I have to say it's a fail in my eyes, but I respect the heritage.

In the intro you state "the watch is back but it's not 100% and I will talk about it later in the video" but you don't mention any other mechanical issues in the video. Are there any other issues you've seen with this model?

Those watches are not for everyone. Uwerk, MB&F amd others. Personally o love them, but it’s like part of a collection, Rolex, AP, Patek, MB&F etc. The workmanship is fantastic. ❤️ like I like to see rainbow watches, admire it, but not for me.. piece of art

this type of watches sounds like a pain in the .... watch to me, I'd never buy something that complicated, ultimately showing time is not a rocket science :)

I just can't get behind these gimmicky watches. In my opinion they will never stand the test of time and quite frankly this is visual vomit. These "Futuristically designed watches" all look like cheap science fiction props that have that "mechanical look " which to me looks like crap lacking humanity. Even the high-end postmodern watches have no humanistic soul that one can attach to your life experiences to or capture a personal or monumental point in one's life journey. They look like dead meaningless automatons, and I couldn't see myself celebrating the birth of a child, Acedemic achievement or leaving it as a keepsake to pass it on to your progeny or next of kin when your time comes. This is just my opinion, but I will say If this is your cup of tea out here in the either, go forward and God Bless and do what makes you happy and purchase what your heart desires.. Ooof, Me thinks I said too much. My Apologies.

Hell no man you didn't say too much. It's your opinion. Just because my opinion is different from yours, doesn't mean you are wrong. In fact, you're probably right in a lot of different ways, but I think I'm right also. It could be somewhere in the middle. I personally think some of their newer designs are a little bit too futuristic. I think this almost looks art deco/mid century modern, original Star Trek.... vs the newer models which remind me more of Battlestar Galactica lol.
