We know when we burn saturated hydrocarbons, it burns with a blue flame and unsaturated hydrocarbons burn with a yellow flame........ So why don't we use this method to test saturated and unsaturated hydrocarbons????? plss telll

We can disguish between saturated and unsaturated hydrocarbon using bromine test. As in unsaturated bromine reaction show gets discolored and bro mine colour colour is constant
