All S class and its derivatives (GLS excluded but S, maybach variants) still carry the upright star. Just bought the GLE and am sad I cannot even swap it aftermarket. Its not the bolt type its a snap on for all "lesser" mercs.

Maybach needs a separate design from s class. People use Maybach kit on s class and Maybach loses its exclusivity
