This style of jewellery and craftsmanship is very common in the Indian state of West Bengal. If I didn't know this person was Nepali, I'd have thought this was being made somewhere in Bengal. To make light weight 22/24k gold jewellery, goldsmiths often insert the lac/beeswax permanently inside the bangle so that it doesn't dent. At the time of purchase, the piece is hollowed out and only the gold weight is calculated. Post this, the lac is refilled and then delivered to the customer.

One of my gold pendant is the same.i.s 18. karat japan gold and a 100 grams ,but it was lost already tovether with some of my jewelries in the house. 24 carrats of gold is softer than the 18 carrats or 22 karrats .it is good for pendant or bungles but for necklace chain not really good because a little bit soft.the good for chain is 18 carats of gold because it is do hard.that os why japanese yakusa big chain necklace or bracelate is made by japan gold 18 carat.platinum gold also is very good.that bungle design is a lot of works.so nice,you done good.👍👍👍

Depends on price of gold and how much they charge for labor. I see similar go for over 2-3k but sometimes you can negotiate the labor costs

I'm getting a chain made from 24k, is it true that the 24k can bend easily ? Does it get scratched easily? Also, how would it even get scratched if it's only worn around the neck? And finally, how do I keep the 24k chain clean, how do I keep the shine & luster without having to polish it? Because polishing makes the item lose gold , what's the best way to clean it and make it shiny without losing gold ?

I think the craftsman has India (or Sri Lankan) Heritage. Bangles are typical ancient Indian jewelry. And this design is an excellent example of even the design. We call this type of heavy bangle a Kangan.
