There’s a high school in Poca, West Virginia. Their mascot is the Mighty Dot. Yes, they have multiple football state championships. Imagine losing to the Poca Dots 😂

I actually know people who are Hoopeston Cornjerkers. It's a very real school. CornJerkers were the people who hand-picked corn before the combine was invented.

FYI: South Dakota State University Homecoming is called “Hobo Days” they actually have a Bum Mobile that is driven by Bum King and Queen. It is a great celebration to be a part of.

There were two high schools in our area that combined together. One was the bull dogs and the other was the longhorns. They decided their combined mascot should be the horn dogs.

In Catawba County, North Carolina, there is the Maiden Blue Devils and Newton-Conover Red Devils, which is a rivalry game.

A highschool mine played in the state championship was once called the rebels, but were changed to the wolverines as they thought "rebel" was offensive. Same goes with one of our division rivals, once the black knights are now just... the "knights".

My hometown is like 30-40 miles away from Hoopeston. We played them in conference games. It's big corn country and cornjerkers pulled the corn. LOL. It is real!

You guys missed one. Rhode Island School of Design's mascot is Scrotie. Yes. Scrotie the Scrotum is their mascot. Them playing the Butte Pirates would be so wrong.

It’s pronounced Her Ford and Hereford Tx is one of the largest beef producers in the country. You’re right Hereford is a breed of cattle that once was the most prominent breeds of cattle in Texas
