I watched this video a while back, not knowing how to use my super deep cupboards in pantry. Learned about using lazy susans for deep shelves, bought like 6 really large ones on Amazon and it's worked fantastic for my organization, so easy to access all the bottles. For all the people making fun of super organization, let's be a little less cynical, just grab whatever wisdom we came here for, and be grateful to Alejandra for opening the doors of her sanctum sanctorum, for all of us slobs to learn!

This is how many times she said organise. 👇🏻 Ok so I've been reading the comments of the video sooooo... where I am from people spell 'organize' as organise so most of the people watching this video must be from America or somewhere where they spell 'organise' as organize. I was thinking of actually changing it so that everyone who 'cares' can be happy but I think that I should be able to write how I was taught at *school* . I respect that other people may spell it differently because they live in different areas of the *world* and hope that you will 'let' me write 'organize' as organise. Thank you.

Kitchen is too big! You may laugh at that! When I was married we built a big home. Very large kitchen. Spent too much time walking! Seriously! I like the sink and cooktop to have a contiguous countertop…not across the floor. A corner is perfect! And the fridge on the other side of the sink…another corner. With a butcher block behind the sink. THAT was my favorites kitchen! When you stand at the sink the butcher block is behind you; the fridge to your right; gas range to your left. Kitchen table and chairs beyond butcher block (which also has high stools.) And a long counter (mine was about 5 feet) with small sink and disposal that was auxiliary sink; bar sink; the counter that got the mail and stuff but NOT actually IN THE KITCHEN! It was BRILLIANT! It also had a fireplace catty corner but not necessary. That counter was normal counter height with cabinets underneath where I kept vases and a raised backsplash. I put a small TV there as I lived alone. I LOVED LOVED LOVED that kitchen! It was about 15 feet wide and from main sink to small sink about 20 feet. But the WORKING kitchen was about 15 x 17. PLENTY BIG!

Alexandra is very organized, with a huge home as this it’s very important to have assistants to accomplish these organization outcomes. And it’s wonderful if Mrs. Alexandra has the mean why not do it so that she could be productive and assist those of us who have no ideas as to what to do. You must remember that she’s is marketing these to the general working class and for those who works for clients that don’t have the time/don’t have to do those tasks. Mrs. Alexandra, I appreciate your organizing guidelines. Blessings to you and those that work with you.🙏

I agree, and yet I upgraded from minimalism to essentialism after christmas, I now have more than I need, but I get along just fine on 260 sq ft. I sew and knit as my new hobbies, and I still have a very organized home. The only way I would go completely minimalist again is if I decided to buy a tiny apartment in town

Ohmygod this video filled my heart with joy! I have been trying to organise my bedroom and some family areas but it's really hard because I care a lot about recycling and I try to be eco-friendly as much as possible. I have been organising using old plastic food containers, paper bags from the groceries, I've been making containers out of old cardboard boxes, and all that stuff takes a lot longer than just going to the store and buying plastic containers. I've watched a LOT of these videos and I have NEVER seen someone talk about recycling or talk about making an environmentally friendly choice like using old ice cream containers to store things! Your recycling bins made me so happy, talking about using cardboard containers in your drawers made me so happy, this whole video made me so happy! Thank-you so much! Your home is beautiful and this video has made me feel so much better about my organisation project and the way in which I'm doing it. I appreciate this so much and I can't wait to watch more of your channel ^_^

Start with one area and there are cheap options for everything. It just needs a little creativity. There are several videos for organizing on a dime. Don't get overwhelmed and start with just one thing. When you finish it you will be inspired. Then move on to one more thing you really want to organize. Before long you will be on your way.

The organization system I just started applying, with good success, is to use three-ring binders for as many small objects as possible. I realized that this was the blocker to doing anything about the large objects - it's all the leftover gadget boxes with two screws, a plastic piece and an instruction manual. Those things can fit in transparent protectors with a bit of tape, or zippered pencil pouches, or anything that ties or fastens to the rings, and you can organize them front-to-back - it works for the receipt, the manual, any notes you need to keep about the item - and you can keep more binders for additional categories. Most of Alejandra's ideas(as with most professional organizers) are about controlling the objects within a top-down label and position, which can erase their history and relationships. It works OK for a library or food stocks, but those of us really struggling with clutter are primarily struggling with the narrative of the objects, I think, and what makes the binders work for me is that they are more like narratives and allow a mixed narrative to be kept together. That's important for maintaining complex objects, creative workflows, etc. It's not about the ease of access, because you only access this stuff rarely. It's about minimizing the footprint to retain that access.

First things first: I love her organised home and positive energy that she has. Second of all: - She has quite a lot of space in her house, which is an advantage - Those organisational products all cost money - This level of organisation takes a lot of time and dedication, but I think once you get the system in place, things will be easier to be kept organised - I use an app for organising my projects, but each does what works for them Now I absolutely love this and want to organise every corner of my apartment and put labels on things. My home isn’t so organised..sigh.
