5 ways of making wood dust. Mix it with PVA glue and use it as a wood filler. No need to colour match if it is used on the wood that provided the dust.

this has never provided a good result for me. Timbermate or Goodfilla is much better.
@peterrhodes5663
@peterrhodes5663 2 жыл бұрын
@@rockbandgamer I've never had any problems with it. Timbermate is $17 for 250g in Bunnings NZ. If you are using a lot of one particular colour, then it may be useful, but if you are dealing with a variety of timbers, having 13 tubs to cover everything, for someone who is not constantly working with wood, is overkill.
@rockbandgamer
@rockbandgamer 2 жыл бұрын
@@peterrhodes5663 thats a bit expensive. On Amazon I get it for about 10 bucks. You definitely don't need 13 colors. Just 3. Once you have those you can mix all the rest if you ever come across a different color wood.

in the first clip, What's wrong with sanding a piece of wood with one hand and it with the other one? It's not like you were using your other hand to do anything more productive in the ''fix''. It looked like one of those infomercials showing you how to fix a problem that doesn't even exist

But holding the wood with your hand puts you at risk of injury should the sander kick or jump, or your distracted by something, this way your hand is further away from the danger so injury less likely.
