the bonuses do not sound much but as you said they are exponentially. meanign if you have a squad of 10 storm boyz you get: 1.07^10 = 1,97 -> roughly doubling the morale regen and 1,015^10 = 1,16 -> roughlky 16% movement speed. nice video and good breakdown of the mechanic!

No, if you have 10 storm boyz without a nob you get 0 movement speed bonus. If you add a nob you get 1,5% movement speed bonus. Same for 15 Stormboys. Only the nob gives the bonus. Which means only slugga squad can truely benefit from this, as each member can give the bonus. (you can test this, only big slugga squads go significantly faster). The only real MOB bonus is the morale immunity bonus which is often underrated. But this means that adding a Big Mek to any squad gives the whole squad 2% health. It's small but it's something.

This game was ahead of it's time. Nice to know 11 year old me back in 2008 was unknowingly taking advantage of all these bonuses with my get 100 pop then WAAAAGHHH strategy :)

the true hidden ork buff in the game is the player engaging in the waaargh! along with his troops i swear - each time i try to play orks and i'm kinda sleepy or in a meh mood i don't win.... now try bringing me some coffee and cranking up the volume in my headphones
