It's actually a pro base. Assymetrical anti 3 star bases like this are commonly used at this level.

Pros go for the hard part of the base first, but because they are there they trick non pros to going there first. In pros your goal is to not make them get three stars at all cost

In basebuilding, the most effective way to build bases is to create 'bait' so you able to narrow down the possibilities from where an attacks could happen and maximizing your traps from that, how you makes your opponent 'think' that "this one looks easy to beat from here", and, baited.
