Its just common man. More electric components = more service cost and less reliability. Thats why most of toyota cars doesn't even have moonroof and none of their cars have panoromic roof

Because Lexus is the benchmark for quality and reliability in luxury brands and the "MADE IN JAPAN" tag is enough. Even a Lexus made in 1990's still runs perfectly fine and the overall interiors and the body of the car would be solid and in one piece.

Absolutely offensive he said that is a premium version of the Camry.. the Lexus LS is far and above a Camry despite the Camry already being a superbly-built car.

This is because the “mechanical components“ - chassis, engine, hybrid system and transmission are exactly same as Camry Hybrid. You get Lexus badge and other luxury features for ₹20L extra.

No matter how reliable, it’s literally digging your own grace to own a luxury car in India these days unless you are Ambani/Adani or son of a corrupt politician/ cop. Specifically, in states like Delhi where govt. is making us question our freedom by introducing obnoxious policies like 10yr - 15yr rule.
