Idk I just found out that 36 and Cash money used the same sample from some group from new york from like the early 90s. The documentary I saw said they both used the sample so many times but never get paid from it.

His lyrics are clever and fit well and he does all of this just to beat boxing not even a soundtrack like everybody nowadays does. there is a reason this song is sampled so much and it not because it’s bad his made Doug E fresh. But it’s not only that he has SO Many hits like “the show” “ children’s story“ “let me clear my throat” “where the party at” “she was that type of girl” and so many more and most of it from a young age
