I always admire how precisely you can "read" and "feel" the dam. And know exactly when it will collapse. With this one in particular, staying below the dam was not without danger. Your skills are remarkable and every video is very interesting. Thank you for sharing!

Undermining the dam, as you do, is very effective. The instant collapse and force of the water also erodes what remains of the dam. The water does the clearance work for you.

Geez. Those dams never look that big when you are standing above them. But the instant you throw the first stick I am impressed by its height. It seems those beavers are not the best builders though. That was one of your easiest ones yet.

So thankful to see you got lighter weight protection from insects! For the next 10 days where I live the daytime high will be in the upper 90°F and low of 78°F. Humidity is 56%. No opening a window for a cool breeze during the summer here.

Here in Canada, When dewatering beaver impoundments, we have to remove the dam gradually, beginning with a small breach, and work in stages to control flows and prevent sediment from being released downstream, and prevent fish stranding. Regardless, I enjoy watching your videos 👍

Clever work. Undermining the dam so that the water will do the rest is the best. Spectacular work. I don't think I have seen such a complete collapse like that before - the head of water was big enough to effectively clean it up for you.

Way taller than it looked when you got down in there! Either that or you was down in a plunge pool hole from removing previous damns. WOW! That is enough water to create a big and deep plunge pool that's for sure. That was fast! Water drained very quickly. Another great job. 👍👍

Wow, that was a very sudden and huge dam collapse! I was not expecting that at all! I realize that cameras are not the cheapest of things, but it would be cool if you had another camera some ways downstream (out of sight of your working area) so it would seem all normal and then suddenly a huge flood would arrive.
