Something to note about Lost Soul, there's nothing stopping you from picking it up after you've completed the floor! The item isn't going to disappear, and unless you're on depths 2 or mausoleum 2 (which you can use a fool card for if you want) you can guarantee at least one pay-out which stops the item from being useless.

Salt shaker is from the repentance edith mod, it spawns a salt circle around you which keeps enemies from coming in and attacking you… sometimes. Hence the description: “Keep the demons at bay” Also it is an active

17:20 I think that’s Edith’s modded item it’s kinda like black powder, if you walk around in a circle then it should make a something like the pentagram that black powder makes and when enemies stem in the circle they get the “fear” affect

Out of those items, metronome is the best. It still retains many reroll like meachanics of afterbirth+, so it can generate hp ups, pickups, and other item pickup benefits. Even if you hate it, you can always just use it after room completion.

You should probably beat the challenges, it would help a lot in runs, for example beating the “Aprils fool” challenge makes Maggie hold a full heath pill at the start of every run which is really good for sacrifice rooms.

I’ve gotten death certificate and r key from metronome in the same run before. It can be very overpowered if you get it early and have more overall charges for it

Oh actually you wanna know a cool synergy i got when i was randomly playing maggie? So basically i already had a strong run, since i r keyd. After that i found genesis in a shop and decided to rerolls all my items just for fun I call this synergy "atomic hurricane" It's tech X + ipecac + quad shot + 20/20 + continuum (add keeper's kin if you want)

Dead Sea Scroll is surprisingly good at times The amount of times it gave me Health is astounding .... Except for that one time I brought it to the Void, I wasn't ready for Delirium at all and as soon as I used it, it activated Teleport, and teleported me RIGHT TO DELIRIUM

Re:Dead Sea Scrolls, they removed the ability for it to literally explode in your face so now it's no longer such a stupid pick. It can do helpful stuff in a room with enemies so I'd take it over having nothing, but it is still too inconsistent to be something you'd want. Still just item pool dilution.

lavencas, if you take active item the item will gets out of the pool, for example, the library in the catedral you could force a beth book or clean the book pool with rerolls, when the library gets out of pool the game will rempace it with treasure room pool pd: i´m not a english speaker, sorry if something in the coment was weird to read

Dead Sea scrolls is legitimately great on Bethany. Any low charge item is in a way, but dead sea scrolls in particular can have disproportionately powerful effects to how much it needs to be charged and since you can spam it you will get them, along with their wisps. Used it to stomp my first lamb kill.

Don’t worry about uploading in Advance, while the premise is nice, it’s only really important if you’re don’t a win or like streak. We just like fun issac content. Do what ever is easier on you. Cause if it’s easier on you, you stay happy. And if you’re happy, you’ll stay in the game longer and keep producing videos without as much burnout. It’s a win win

I sometimes play the shell game, but only when I'm either playing as Cain or when shops don't spawn anymore. Only items I got from it were Pretty Fly, not the best but it helped to get the beelz transformation. Other than that I also seem to get troll bombs, and then usually when he's incased by rocks or something, so I can't move the bomb out of the way and he blows himself up.

Honestly, I always thought Dead Sea Scrolls was great with Book of Virtues. Low recharge time, could be literally any wisp, and it’s honestly especially good with Bethany what with the soul charge thing

10:54 Its fun to use, and I see it as a random item, card, pill or hearth generator. The only issue is that it can use monstro tooth, so you need to use in a room with enemies if you don't want to get hurt.

I use the shell game whenever I'm desperate for pickups. Idk the actual chances for slots, but it feels like they pay out more often than the slot machines. the shell game has come in clutch quite a lot for me

5:22 I absolutely use the shell game whenever I’m having a crappy low consumable run. I’ve turned like six coins into three or four bombs and keys (which can make all the difference) Oh and I also recently got the shell game to pay out with skatole and then rerolled it into Mom’s Knife

I'm surprised you don't have Maggie's pill. In Repentance, she'll start with a Full Health pill so you can fully pay all the way to both possible angel rooms items even from the literal start of the game. It's really worth unlocking

Not sure if you watch sinvicta, but I'd really love to see you attempt an omega run (every boss in one run). It's a 50/50 chance and a lot more luck too but just an idea.
