I can't even see which side of the racquet he hit it with. The swing looks like a super-fast version of a normal forehand squash-shot to start with, but the follow-through makes it look as though he got it on the backhand side, which would be utterly extraordinary. Perhaps the camera doesn't pick up the the wrist pronation. The point of contact is a blur but it looks like you can just make out the change of sides.

I don't think most of the forehand were all that fast, but really, those were sensational winners! Cool video, but it would have been nice if more delpotro and at least one verdasco forehand would have been put. Nevertheless, awesome video!

Fernando Gonzalez had the fastest forehand ever! He hit once a 189 km/h forehand winner! That speed is decent even for serve!

Good video. My favourite fastest shots are property of Kyrgios and Del Potro. And the shot Nadal vs Wawrinka in Roland Garros 2017, too. Some shots are not so fast. For instance, Nishikori's shot or several Federer's passing shots. I miss shots of Berdych and Tsonga. Nadal and Shapovalov are the only left-handed players in the video.

True, although the angle you are viewing this game from is quite deceiving. The shots are extremely fast, and they are VERY fast compared to your average player. Federer's shot's not being "that fast" is an understatement as he, like other professional tennis players, strike the ball at high speeds.

You rarely ever see Fed hit over 100 mph on a groundstroke. This also applies to that other "water is wet" comment above, posting over semantics lol
