I think those are based on recently situations, because EXO is still on hiatus, there’s no group activity at all, only a solo activity, solo album and such things… So, yeah their little brothers and sisters who are better known by Kpop fans today..

@@seaturtle_0616 that still doesn't mean they are more popular than Exo, the newest groups might be known more by new kpop stans, but Exo's fanbase is still the biggest among SM's groups, even tho you could say their fans are mostly outside this community of new/multi fans. Anyways, currently, Exo's brand reputation is the highest among all SM's groups, and second in the overall male Kpop groups ranking, which is directly proportional to what you will consider is trending at the moment

And also exo in general still have more followers on ig, just not for exo acc because they aren't actually active on it. Impact wise, snsd, tvxq and exo did it better than any other sm groups. Koreans have this saying that if you don't know these groups and the members, you're probably an outsider pretending to be a citizen.

@@manyaerys4018 NCT ( including every unit ) has crossed over 24+ million sales of album and I was talking about NCT as whole + Seeing recent comebacks NCT 127 2 baddies sold over 3 million copies album , NCT dream also sold over 3 millions ( including repackage) with hot sauce Exo highest sells was 1.40+ million ( in 2018 ) and trust me " don't fight the feeling was weakest comeback" it didn't even crossed 1.2 million sales .... If exo wasn't on Haitus they might have been #1 group of SM but all these years SM has been pushing NCT more making NCT #1 group as of now NCT 127 is usually pushed to western market seeing how they are doing great on billboard NCT dream ( although it is not pushed much as NCT 127 but NCT dream has strong fanbase in South Korea compare to all other units ) And other NCT units are also doing well so all together NCT is #1 group recently

Majority of bigger fandom like blinks, army , carats, MOA, STay ,Nctzen and onces didn't take it seriously..I think TTA is for newer fandoms (4yrs below) for them to have recognition..Other awards are worth voting for but TTA is just"watch ads or buy points to vote"..

@@bella-hi4oo that's what you think probably, BTS has won TTA votings too as for blinks they are not strong at voting so, as I said we don't just win TTA votings we won many others voting like SMA, AAA too, as for MAMA since mnet disrespect and mistreated EXO and Exols so majority of the fandoms doesn't want to vote anymore. Their newest album DFTF won 11+ awards with 0 promotions, in conclusion EXO still won big or small awards.

Yup, those two are the king and the queen of SM. But SNSD had their glory as the top GG during 2nd gen. Exo is 3rd gen group but I think they still under BTS and BP. Maybe they are equal to twice.

What are their current sales of their comebacks compared to aespa etc? It’s not about historical popularity, it’s about now. Aespa is selling more than SNSD. Exo is having a comeback this year, so we’ll have a better idea of how they’re doing. In terms of influence though, they’re at the top but I’m not too sure about current popularity

hybe groups are literally all so popular. lsf being ranked at the second last of the list but you still hear “anti ti ti ti ti fragile fragile” everywhere. that’s crazy. the list isn’t wrong though, that’s just how crazy famous hybe groups now. fromis need better promotion though, some people don’t even know they’re in hybe. all of the above group got fair promotions. and i’m pretty sure exo ranks higher. even when they’re not active. they’re top tier still. this ranking is just from the group that sm promotes most to least tho. ofc exo doesn’t rank high, sm did mostly nothing for exo. and they’re an older group, sm promotes the newest group most now. so if aespa got hoobaes, they’re going to defeat nct and aespa in the ranking because of how much promotion they’re gonna get.

They have very unique and experimental music, which is why they aren't as popular as the others among general public. They don't have as much views for the MV like EXO, REDVELVET or aespa. 1. EXO, was the 2nd most popular group among the biggest competition, the 3rd gen. 2.SNSD-Because they ruled 2nd GEN, They have the highest music show wins, album sales, endorsements and they were the queens. 3.Redvelvet and aespa. REDVELVET was one of the 3 most popular gg of the 3rd gen(BP,TWICE,RV) and aespa is also one of the top 3 gg of their gen(NJ,aespa,ITZY). They have a huge fd too. 4.SHINEE- They ruled 2nd Gen KPOP, They inspired many groups and idols and are literally the icons of experimental styling, they were the heart throbs of 2nd Gen. 5.NCT- Extremely talented, really really cool music, their music is wayyyy ahead of their times, and I'm sure they are gonna be popular as the years go by. But as of now, they are not as popular as the above mentioned groups. So that's the reason they are 5th🤷 This is what I feel, this might not be factual.

REDVELVET was the most popular, but their recent cbs arent doing well, so I think they aren't in their prime anymore. SNSD have also lost their relevance but I put them as 2nd because they were the best in that KPOP gen, while for 3rd gen, It was BlackPink, Twice and then Redvelvet.🤷

Isn't New Jeans the second most popular group rn in HYBE. I'm a fearnot so idk much about NJ. But I remember watching so many posts in insta and fb that are saying 'NJ is gonna replace the golden trio of Kpop: BTS, Blackpink and Twice'. Idk is it right or wrong. Does anyone have authentic info. Because I don't think these claims are entirely fake. Because NJ has the most organic growth for a rookie group. Also, they're the first rookies to be the ambassadors for luxury brands(along with Aespa off course for Givenchy).
