I'm a f2p and I don't pay much attention to the damage my characters do, since my only goal in the game is to have fun and attract those I like. When players come into co-op and have to strut around showing their damage, it pisses me off a lot, but yours was clearly a kindness that you wanted to lend him a hand. People should learn to have a little more respect. I'm sorry for what happened to you, I hope it doesn't happen again. :(

Guys, many may know, but... If you don't have friends (like me), do the following. make a portable teleportation. Go to that place of the mirage where everything is stopped in time, it is in the sumeru desert. put him there in the middle of the three wooden chairs. Go to the domain (any one will do), leave the multiplayer on, run back in the teleport that you placed in the Sumeru mirage. and finally, let two strangers sit together with you on the three tree chairs. achievement of five gems. what I don't do for crumbs.

I hate toxic co-op players so much. There was this one experience that I will remember for a long time. I had just finished leveling up my Childe to 90 and I joined someone else’s world. I joined, got told to kill myself 11 times in the time it took me to report all three players. Like, I’m already depressed and passively suicidal, y’all don’t need to stir the pot-

U gotta be careful tho, some people just have really high egos and can easily get angered if someone helps them especially if they didn’t ask them too, but in this case they didn’t even inform you that they didn’t need help so that was just straight up unnecessary bro like who hurt them-

Just had a super toxic Co-Op experience a few hours ago and it worsened my mood a bit. I used all my resin and decided to join worlds for fun. So I joined this one world, and another player also mained Ayaka like me. Immediately he told me to get the fuck out, told me to remove my Ayaka pfp, and called me a fake Ayaka main bc I built her on full Emblem with Jade Cutter. He also told me if I don’t switch characters, he’ll doxx me. So I switched to my Kazuha(1k EM with freedom sworn) for the Raiden boss and this same guy was the first to die. He’s using C5 Ayaka with R3 Mistsplitter, what a joke. It made me feel so good when he died first. I got kicked from the world and he starts messaging me, telling me to commit die and saying I’m a failed abortion. I blocked him, but he copied my UID and kept messaging me on other accounts. It got really troubling when he told me my real name and said he’d doxx me if I don’t uninstall Genshin. He gave me a phone # and said to send a picture of my screen saying I deleted the game. If I don’t do it in 10 minutes, I will get doxxed. Of course I didn’t do it, and nothing happened. I don’t get rattled easily, but this experience was a shock to me, since everyone I meet is usually very nice.

If someone request to enter my world, I just accept it and say..."feel free to take anything u want, I don't mind"...I didn't offer any help cause I know I'm not good enough to help them😂

Meanwhile there's me who wouldn't mind getting carried by stronger players lol. I just sit there and watch as they one shot my enemies while jumping to cheer them up😅😂

Gosh you just reminded me of going out to help some people who needed help. So i have found this person with the signature "I need help now now now now now" so i decided to join em. They accepted it and i was like "Hello do you need help?" . They casted a Shogun E and kicked me out :,) I found some sweethearts on genshin that wanted to take some photos with me. I love the players you can chit chat with. They are so nice!

Thats why i never let anyone enter my world even if i needed help with domains ive been through alot and i won't let anyone hurt me anymore

They overreacted HARD. They probably felt inferior when your Hu Tao did big damage ⊂(▀¯▀⊂)💥✨ I don’t understand why others act up like that, it’s childish. Like- one of the points of Genshin is to strengthen and improve your characters. The only thing that would slightly annoy me; is if I was fighting an enemy *on my own* and then someone comes and takes the final shot when I’m about to kill it ( I get it ) but, I wouldn’t be so rude (￣ﾛ￣;) I usually tag along when people come into my world, and I ask if they want help. If not, I just follow them because I still want *my* materials. I hope you have better interactions with other players 💕 you didn’t do anything wrong, it’s clearly a them problem🫰

one of the reasons i rarely play co-op or acc a world request, sometimes i'm afraid if they are toxic player. judging my build, my character etc. but so far i have never ever meet one toxic person (i play on asia server) and all the players i met are friendly.

If they didn't want your help, they should've said no thank you -_- I have my signature set to "feel free to join if you need help with anything" Whenever someone joins i straight up ask if they need help with anything, even to my friends lol. Thankfully most people were very sweet and thank me and leave. The "worst" experience i had was when someone didn't say goodbye when they left so i sent them "have a nice day" in their chat (they're on my friends list) and they still haven't replied since :') There was also this one time two people who were using Raiden and Yae ganged up and bullied me...free circus? It was funny looking back at it now XD

I have always found it cool when people come to my world and do big pp damage. I set that as a threshold I'll reach if i continue building my characters. If the first thing that came to that guys mind was envy then it was his problem. I for one really liked it when high level players came to my world. Right now i am ar 50 so people don't really come unless i put a namecard up.

Had a guy join my world and tried to steal materials without saying anything, asked what they need and form no response. Got bad when I kicked them, tried to rejoin too. SMH. On my thing even say you can take what you need just tell me first. Stopped accepting co op invites after this happened 2 more times with different people

ive actually met some rude people so that time we were doing a domain, then my wifi cut off mid fight 💀 but i quickly changed it to data and got back in the game and they suddenly left the domain, so i finished it myself and then they said im good at this game so i was about to say thank you and they said the best thing i should do is to stop playing the game and started cussing at me like that was my first encounter of meeting someone rude so i apologized as soon as they said it like damn whatd i do

Obviously the guy overreacted and should’ve just say they didn’t need the help. But I can kinda understand the “getting helped” part. Since my characters are not built the best and i love to use childe. People often out damage me by a lot. Yes. It shortened the time I needed to kill the enemy, but I wouldn’t be playing childe if i only wanted to kill them as fast as possible. It just feels like they’re seeing me as a noob that need help or sth(i’m ar59) but I would just keep those shit to me. It is not their fault that my character cannot do more solo damage. And of course I would still thank them, they helped me out of kindess no matter what.

And those friends i made ask me to ascend cuz they know i can already do it.actually they trust my not so good build more than i do, now im ar56 and can beat bosses more confidently alone but still want to be carried by my coop friends and would still jumping in the corner watching and cheering, taking pics. for them soloing world bosses cuz my lazy bones ask them to fight it for me. People both in online coop and online are just weird. I don't get it either. You did nothing wrong. It's they're own damn fault for not replying to your question in the first place. Just like I recently had this guy who came to my world to help me with Wolf boss. He asked why I wasn't pulling for characters and I was like, "Didn't you read the sig? This is a F2P account." Then he got weird about it in a sexual way. All you gotta do is just ignore it and move on. And hope karma is real.

Oof I dont understands why they're acting like this even thought you have been so nice. Surprisingly I never came around with a toxic co op players, all I met are new friends or just people asking if they can grinds for materials or help me with the domains or boss fight.

I've luckily never met any toxic people like that yet 😪 Here's a good experience I had though I once was looking for sethos mats and joined someone whose signature read "help i need to ascend gaming" bc I couldn't find anyone to let me in, I thought I'd help them and maybe they could let me take mats after. I came in, they asked first if I needed anything so I said can I take some sethos mats, I told them I'd help them if they needed it and they didn't ask for anything. told me i could take it. Checked the map, AR45 and hasn't unlocked sumeru.... alright, thats fine, some people just don't explore, not judging While I was here for some reason I decided to check on their characters because honestly why not? They were building their gaming, I wanted to see how they were building him. All their characters had random assortments of 2 and 3 star artifacts. 😨 Could immediately tell they've never done an artifact domain in their life, or don't know how artifacts work. Not judging them because artifact domains are hard, and I didn't even get I had to do them until halfway into the game. The game doesn't explain artifacts that well. So I gently just go, "Hey, do you need help with artifacts?" "why?" "well I was looking at your characters and I noticed they only have 2-3* artifacts...." I don't know what I was expecting as an answer but luckily they say "Yes please." I grab my friend that's around my level and we hop into the crimson witch domain (they don't have fontaine unlocked for marechaussee) and carry them for a while After a bit we finished and they say "Thanks, I got some really good ones!" made me really happy. I sometimes wish someone went into my world and explained artifacts for me way back when. It was good they already semi-knew how they worked and just needed help farming them, I wouldn't know how to explain it 😅

In what genshin experience would help not be useful? You both get drops, everyone can claim from domains so what’s the big deal?

I'm still learning about the game with these short clips So there's a private land where we can farm and do solo leveling? Guess I'll never let anyone inside tbf, i've known these type of co-op early from the 2000s, ragnarok was one of my first to teach me how everything works in multiplayer So yeah, i can't fully put on my paper my knowledge over my first playing experience along today, but I'm not in the slightest surprised by the insecurity, shame and rude behaviour of this player I understand things from back then that are resurfacing nowadays, and when there's a option to do things alone, means i can learn and experience the game instead of going by someone's word, it can also be fun, tho i prefer to hone my skills and synchronisation with the system of combat and the character. I respect support classes and stronger dps characters bcs many of em helped me on these type of games, and I'm grateful for having seen both sides of the coin... I'm just sad that after learning so much, i can view things from infinite perspectives, to a point where it feels flawed and i can pinpoint each detail of what i need to do at the time, wich leads to misjudgement and envy from others around my level I feel like co-op games are more single-player than multi-player , wich sometimes are more rewarding (tho at a great difficulty), most of the time being alone in genshin helps me think better

IMO Its not even considered help. You were prob just bored and decided to tag along. I do that a lot and when I join other worlds people do that sometimes too.

dang which server you guys played on ? I played on the Asia server and never encountered this type of player before. The most toxic player I've ever met just picks up materials without permission or kicks me out without warning, most of them when they got mad they just quit or kick you out
