Powering the Maruti Suzuki Ignis is the same 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, VVT petrol engine that generates an output of 82bhp and 113Nm of torque. This motor is mated to a five-speed manual unit or an AMT unit.
While the Ignis’ exterior design is a love-it-or-hate it affair, its cabin will attract a more uniform positive opinion. There’s a good deal of space on offer for what is essentially a Micro SUV car. Even the design and execution of the dashboard is a break from the norm.
The Maruti Suzuki Ignis petrol is a delight, delivering peppy responses and good efficiency. You’d be best served by the 5-speed manual transmission, since the AMT petrol-automatic dials back the fun and is more suited to a relaxed driving style. Ride quality is fine and you won’t have any trouble placing the Ignis, even in tight confines.
Formerly also available with a diesel engine, the Ignis is now sold in petrol-manual and petrol-AMT forms. It holds the distinction of being the most affordable car to be sold from Maruti Suzuki’s premium Nexa network.

Small family ku ok, but excess ah 2 number additional ah 2 medium size kids iruntha car konjam pick up kuraiyum, my suggestion go for 1.5 CC engine

Zeta starts from 7.7 Lakhs and goes to around 9 lakhs for top end in pondy. And you have MT & AMT options as well in these prices

This car's performance is really good! Due to its peppy 1.2 L engine combined with less weight & compact dimensions. It's giving around 15 kmpl automatic variant in city and 18 in highways. But mileage highly depends on how u drive!

Yes you're right! Focus on what you want If it's good driving dynamics choose Ignis or if it's space & comfort go for WagonR

Peppy 1.2L VVT petrol Engine! It's the official name given in Nexa! Its just variable valve timing (VVT). It's used to improves performance and fuel efficiency.

biggest problem in ignis amt is there is no hil hold function which is available in swift amt..

This Nexa Blue color is available in All German Cars as it signifies a Royal look.And it contrasts well with Silver color Bumper accents in front and back! Super 👌 You can go for Torquoise Blue color Ignis which is Beautiful 😍. White,Silver and Grey are NO,NO.
