Thank you to those of you that pointed this out! Had a bit of a brain fart earlier - the card I meant to bring up being the mana bank is Horizon Stone. Blinkmoth is also great to generate a lot of mana! Meant to bring up both

I think you are thinking of another card when you talk about Blinkmoth Urn. It gives you 1 colourless for each artifact you control, it doesn't store up mana.

Should definently consider conjurer's closet for this deck because when the closet exiles the card it comes back into play face up (even if it's a land or noncreature)

Golden Argossy will also work well here, particularly since you can crew it with ANY number of creatures. This will flip all permanents that were manifested. Not sure how it would interact with non-permanents though.

In line with Iron Apprentice when I saw this guy I immediately thought of the Modular creatures. It wouldn't be a powerful deck but I could definitely see it being a fun casual brew.

Interesting how the manifest is equal to counters. Load it up with keyword counters on top of its base 1/1 counters

how would this commander interact with a megamorph commander being tunrned face up by its morphcost? the counter is put on a creature as it is turned face up, does the ability checking for colorless creatures to gain a counter see it, or will it just miss it as the creature will have regained its colors basically at the same time?

The counter is applied as the permanent is turned face up, so Omarthis will not see the counter being placed unless the front-side is also colorless (though no such cards exist.)

Anyone know any colorless bounce? The idea of using bounce to pick and choose the cards manifested cards you can't cast, but need in the moment, appeals to me. Like a toolbox on the battlefield, or an extension of your hand. The most exciting thing for me from the Eldrazi unbound deck is this card... I have wanted a colorless deck for a while... But I don't want a boring "ramp till big dude" deck that most of the colorless commanders are. I was going to make a liberator deck, since it's not that arch type, but this potential toolbox idea is neat and I want to see how many colorless bounce cards exist to see if I can make it work.

Specifically, bounce that returns to hand? Cloudstone Curio, Ancestral Statue, decoction module, umbilicus, getaway car, dragon mask, obelisk of undoing, blood clock, voyager staff, and erratic portal. There's more that can exile and return, such as conjurer's closet, but I think the ability to get instant and sorcery spells back to hand is better utility.

actually insanely good with masticores since manifesting them doesn’t count as casting, it’s just a special action to flip them

It's neat enough. Foe about a minute, I was really excited that Ixidor, Reality Sculptor, could go in here; he a pricier pick, but could make the facedown cards better, and flip them...and then my brain said "wait, this is an actual colorless Commander. It doesn't have any hidden color identity in its text, so Blue Ixidor can't be in there. Too bad. Still, looks like it could be an interesting Commander.

1:01 manifest only let's you cast the card if it's a creature card

It’s also important to note that the card isn’t cast at all, nor does it change zones, which means enter the battlefield effects won’t trigger.

It’s not exactly the _best_ fit for the deck, but it’s got a bit of synergy with the ramp half.

What do you think could beef up mana base other then ugin eye of ugin mana vault mana crypt and ancient tomb

Eye of Ugin is specifically reduction for Eldrazi and doesn't tap for mana. I'm not sure if I'd put it in the deck for a 7 cost tutor.... But I suppose it's an idea.

@@DfCoolcat666df I wouldn't use this commander for that, then. Manifest isn't casting and seems to negate ETB triggers. This card has some anti synergy with the eldrazi titans.

He has Nicol Bolas's horns, not Ugin's.

@@casteanpreswyn7528 Considering Nico Bolas and Ugin are twins, you aren't exactly wrong... But the coloration definitely learns more towards Ugin.

@Masteroftheweb the coloration is, but the shape of their horns is very different. I actually wouldn't be surprised if he was originally related to Bolas in some way, but then became an apostle to Ugin after his death. Spending so my time with Bolas determined the shape, but because he uses ghostfire, they also are similar to Ugin's spirit dragon horns.

@@casteanpreswyn7528 Congrats... you made me go actually look at it closely. They are 100% in line with Ugin's horns. They even have the same sharp protrusions at the bottom curve and above the head that Ugin's have. Bolas doesn't have those, his are smooth curves. There is no Bolas in Omarthis.

@Masteroftheweb this is a joke, right? Omarthis has completely smooth, u-shaped horns, just like Bolas, while Ugin has jaged spike ridden horns. Have you ever seen art of any of the 3 of them?

I think modular is the wrong way to go with this. Plus, we've had a couple modular commanders recently. Zabaz is actually pretty good. Haven't built the transformers modular commander yet, but it seems pretty fun.

@@nateshepardson1204 ah, yeah. I still think modular isn't really the right fit. Would definitely work if you had something like arcbound crusher, animation module, and ashnod's altar. It's just that they need to come into play face up to get the counters, and manifesting them with Omarthis would kinda suck.

IM SO TICKED. The Sliver deck was hogwash.. the Eldrazi deck was basically given a Golden Platter.

Sliver players were never going to be happy. It's already a very supported tribe.

I'm kind of disappointed with this deck. I was hoping you'd be more than just big stompy Eldrazi, they could have did something with devoid to make all those cards or ingest to make it do something different.

That's why I'm infinitely more excited about this card as my colorless commander rather than the precon Eldrazi deck... Rock ramp big dumb gree... Colorless is boring to me. Deck is going to have the same strat every time. Get big dude out and swing.

Devoid doesn't function in colorless decks.

@@casteanpreswyn7528 They can function if there was some way to give them an alternative cost or replace their colored symbols with Waste. Which is can be a cool idea an Eldrazi commander that's not one of the 3 titans would do. Just big colorless creatures it something colorless edh decks already do.

@trevorlanclos6566 then it wouldn't be devoid, it'd just be colorless. The whole point of devoid is to not trigger color specific effects while still costing color mana.
