ABOUT 'GOT TALENT'
Got Talent is a British talent show TV format developed by Simon Cowell's SYCOtv company and owned by Fremantle Media Ltd. It has spawned spin-offs in over 70 countries, in what is now referred to as the 'Got Talent' format, similar to that described by Fremantle of the 'Idol' and 'The X Factor' singing show competition formats. I love Jazz! You let jazz move through your body. I sang gospel, and was surprised when Jazz came out my mouth and I felt it flowing through my bones! It's very surreal, and quite magical! This beautiful young lady gave us all a wonderful treat!

@@spacep0d Surely you have noticed that except for James Arthur, the one who to my opinion had the less unique voice of all, none of those outstanding singers won the competition. When you know who won it, you just want to cry. By the way, they forgot the absolutely best of the best, who won XFactor : Sam Bailey !

My favorites were Nick Casicairo, Josh Daniel, Dalton Harris, Olatunji Yearwood and Anton Stephans. They expressed such emotion with their voices and song choices. Mr Yearwood was quite the showman ...confident and very entertaining.. (Edited in additional names)

@@teresmajor6954 Gamu, her Mother and two brothers had tons of support from professionals when their plight was highlighted, they fought the home office until 2016 and were finally granted a stay on the deportation. Gamu is now happily married and working as a stylist.

Man! I can’t believe I got to watch her perform it live, I don’t watch these shows - but in 1995, I was in the club with my best girlfriends, GOIN OFF to “dreamer” She’s so HUMBLE! The woman is a LEGEND!!! Honestly. That song will ALWAYS be relevant and loved. Yes, Jahmene has an incredible voice but if I had to listen to a whole album with him singing like that, I would probably shut it down by the third song. I also wonder if his voice is up to the strain of a two hour long concert. What he does is very taxing on the vocal chords. He would do much better in a group of vocalists with different ranges where he could compliment the others and visa versa. The Righteous Brothers are a good example where Bobby Hatfield did the high notes. The Ink Spots, Four Tops and even the old Barber Shop Quartets are great examples and singing in a group would give his voice a little break.

A lot of singers now do that elaborate ornamentation ie runs & with every line. It’s too much, imo & becomes distracting. He’s got a wonderful, agile voice but doesn’t need to go so overboard with that stuff. I believe that Nicole was his coach & got him to rein it in. Sometimes, less is more!
