I’m a conservative Christian man. My (now ex) wife and I were at one time the “power” couple in our church, (conservative Protestant) and were the teachers, facilitators of our marriage conferences. Trust me when I tell you… feminism is alive and well in pretty much all the American churches and denominations. The resistance and push back on traditional roles during the classes was eye opening. Women not only want everything, and both ways and at an advantage… they also want to tell God how things ought to be. It’s gotten just insane and crazy. I’m now divorced, and have peace.

Draw her a mental picture of the train wreck waiting to happen after the collision of her contradictory beliefs. Her reply, you don’t know anything. In the aftermath of her inevitable failure to impose her will on the world I always ask, how’s that working out for you? Her reply, you’re an asshole.

I wouldn't say its even unrealistic specifically, as in everyone always dreams of the ultimate ideal, just that its unreciprocated in reality. If a woman is a 9 or 10 and can cook and clean and has good values and good with kids etc, she absolutely deserves the top 1% because she is too. But the overweight can't cook well etc, yeah she isn't reciprocating if she's going for anything over a 4. I guess it comes out to the same thing

better go read Genesis again. Even better listen to Dr. Peterson's lecture series about Genesis. God recognized that Adam should not be alone and needed a companion as well as someone to help tend to the garden. Adam was whole and God split part of Adam away to create Eve and we're never whole until we find our "Eve" or "Adam" to complete our physical and spiritual being that was split apart. The Bible even alludes to that also.

@@joey86bu1 Again, you are only reading a translation with no context. In the most ancient copies of Genesis the Hebrew word where "helper" is translated from only means "one who helps." In fact, that very same word (Ezer) is used when talking about God in the oldest copies of the Old Testament in multiple places meaning God is one who helps and supports his people. It doesn't mean being subordinate or a servant. I'd suggest pulling information about Biblical texts from multiple locations instead of reading it literally out of any single translation. Especially the Hebrew understanding of the Old Testament is very enlightening and resolved some of the issues I had with the Bible for years such as death being the penalty for everything in Leviticus. Death for the most part meant spiritual death not physical death. What you will find is that translations even before the KJB oversimplified the meaning or used a word that has different connotations from the original texts.

I’ve watched my mother and sister spit feminist tropes and claim to be Christian. I put the kabash on that crap fast. They had the gall to state my great uncle, the oldest son, getting the farm was patriarchy after my great grandfather died early due to a farming accident. Yes he got the farm, had to withdraw from college. Made sure every brother and sister went to college and took care of his mother until the day he died in his 80’s. Yeah he came out on top. Never mind every other child did better because they were college educated in the 20’s and 30’s and didn’t take care of their mother. He was a great eldest son and should be celebrated for what he did. Instead these supposedly Christian women denigrated him.

Yep, I have been through that, 12 years of manipulation and mental abuse, I got isolated, she manipulated to isolate me from my friends, my family, my social life, didn't wanted me to have contact with my own friends and blood for 12 f*cking years. When I try to speak politly my opinion, it triggered her more to be more aggresive and try to blame me for everything and gaslighting just because I had an honoust opinion, untill one day I didn't have my own opinion anymore, my own character, I was nothing anymore. I just realised it after 12y, I was so manipulated that I didn't noticed anymore and began to seem normal.. Now we are on a divorce, after 12y marriage and 4 kids, she hadn't have to work, because I worked 2 jobs to provide for my family, build a big house, one big happy family, never problems always said yes to everything, untill one day she decides to end the marriage and take half of my belongings and house, everything, I didn't anything wrong just to love my wife and kids, provide for them and work the shit out of me. MEN LEARN OUT OF THESE LESSONS, NOT ONLY MINE BUT HUNDRED OF THOUSANDS OF MEN WHO HAVE BEEN THROUGH THE SAME THING ! Never give up your identity, never say always "yes" to everything, I don't mean that you have to treat your wife badly, but just don't allow and fellow everything they say and sometimes speak up for yourself and don't be a simp. NEVER AGAIN FOR ME.

Tbf the term originated (like most other terms/stereotypes) to accurately describe a certain type of person, however like most of these terms, when used against the 'right'/trad/redpill it gets expanded to include those who do not belong to it. It's not about viewing women as dumb or submissive like a servant is submissive, but a help meet(fit). Yes wives are supposed to submit and respect, but men are supposed to love their wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it. Christ is the husband and the Church is the wife. The husband loves, works, leads, and intercedes for his wife and the wife honors, works, serves, and submits to her husband.

as I've posted at some other point: When people are referring to something as "Traditional" they are talking about them being more close to their "traditional" roles And, when someone says "trandwife" it stands for traditional wife. Which is the opposite of "modern wife" or "modern woman". So, it means looking for more "traditional" feminine traits in women. Which would be: 1) submissive 2) supportive 3) loyal 4) trust worthy 5) loves her family 6) modest As opposed to the "modern" woman that would be: 1) non submissive 2) combative 3) has pictures of herself naked on the internet 4) drama queen 5) constantly self sabotaging herself and trying to rationalize that 6) prideful Now there's a spectrum between these two where most people are situated. And some are further in a direction or the other. I find it normal for men to want girls that tend more towards the feminine than the masculine. Why its so hard for most girls to understand that if they want a guy that's generally superior to them in every aspect in life, then they must be submissive and allow their "better" partner lead them. Because its hard to admit that every woman finds men that are overall better than them attractive and men that are overall worse than them as unattractive?

She's also said countless times that it can't be pretend submission, that they must follow and obey or it's counterfeit submission. If your G forgives, it does not remove the CONSEQUENCES of your actions. Cigarette smoking is one of the hardest things to quite. Even if you are successful, the damage to your body maybe life ending, even though you are forgiven. Forgiveness still requires you not to do it again, ever.....

It seems to be a universal human behavior. When talking about a subject we don't really know very well, we tend to add many useless or vague words before we get to the point we're trying to make. Put another way, when we talk on a subject that we do know very well, we can make very clear and concise points without wasting time groping around with vague and useless words. Seeing a transcript of what someone said is a good way to see more graphically how well they know the subject they're talking about.

Aaron Clary did a clarification and explained the computations for percentage of women who are wife material. Two methods with hard standards, give a result of 1.25% and 1.5%. A method with lots of latitude for this that and the other thing gives a result of just 5+% that are wife material. Best case one in twenty are wife material. That is worse odds than most of the games in Vegas. Past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior.

Real question, I’m sure Pearl has answered this, but why isn’t she married already; and if/when she does get married, is she going to quit her job to stay at home and have babies if the man she falls in love with wants that? I did and do since as a Catholic my husband and I firmly believe mom’s should be at home if financially possible to raise and rear kiddos. I feel as if sometimes she can advocate for this but at the same time forgets she’s a working single woman with a large career that she might have to give up if she believes in these traditional family values…❤

I love how realistic you are. The tradcon men live in this unrealistic idealistic view. The worst dating advice I ever received was from people who never dated and married their highschool sweetheart. They never actually had to navigate the dating world. They haven't used apps, they never talked to girls in a concert or bar, or had friends try to set them up.
