There is no video recording in existence that can replicate the actual feel of experiencing this song live. A truly life changing event which I also experienced in 1980. I have never been the same person since. RIP Motorhead.

Motorhead are dead. "Don't want to live forever" well they didn't. End of an era. I met them once, it's like another piece of my youth has just slipped away! Rest in rock Lemmy!

Easy, darlin. I feel the pain, I met Lemmy and Philip on their tours, Eddie had left by then. As is evident in this footage, Eddie seemed like he was angry, when he should have sucked it up and realized he was in a band with the most genuine rock n roller of all time. Phil is to be hailed as well, "Overkill" is pretty much required for any serious metalheads. BUT..😔 we lost THE LEGEND, but how can he EVER be forgotten?

Was this called the' Bomber tour' as they played West Runton pavilion late 80 ,when noise reduction cut offs certainly weren't part of the equipment - I think some of 'No sleep till Hammersmith' was recorded there . I can remember this rockstage series - some gigs were from de Montfort hall Leicester I believe.

@@miisu If you know anything about these guys, you can see that Eddie was pissed that he wasn't the boss. See how he called the last turn to Philthy, no respect, like "hey drummer boy I'm yer boss too" worst move Eddie made was quitting Motorhead. Only band that will ever matter

@DmageCase4 жыл бұрын
You make your own interpretation. In any case, Motörhead never regained the same notoriety after the departure of Fast Eddie Clarke. And what about Philthy's ego issues when he decided to quit Motörhead in 1984 to form a new band with Brian Robertson because he thought Motörhead was not good enough for him anymore ? The fact is that Motörhead was a constant ego war between the three guys. It made the band success but also explains why it exploded in few years.
