If only the whole world would adopt the motorhead attitude of "give and take " and "tolerance " it will be a better place than now, that's for sure, rest in peace lemmy,

+Gary Macrie Agreed! I miss that venue so much. This was the last time I ever saw Motorhead, unfortunately. They sounded amazing that night!

I often think that many people don't realize how good musician every one of them is.
@axeman2638 Жыл бұрын
Lemmy was unique and a great character but not a good musician.
@hw2508 Жыл бұрын
@@axeman2638 He was a good Songwriter. And the stuff they played, the way they played it, is not that easy. Yes, he is not a guitar or bass god, but they were a tight band and good musicians.
@guillll Жыл бұрын
Lemmy was an excellent musician. Try to be as tight as he was, playing at these tempos they played at and you'll see. Also he had his own style that he invented himself, which is the most important thing for any musician.

Phil is so modest, and definitely underrated. His guitar solos are awesome.

That´s the story of "Punk´n Roll" ......
@Antipodean3312 жыл бұрын
It's not all about technical brilliance with rock n roll, its all about the "soul" of the musos in the band. Take tommy emanuel for instance, technically brilliant guitarist but i've never heard anything he's done that would even begin to make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. The sex pistols proved this point perfectly. It's still good to have technical brilliance as with mikkey Dee here but its all about the soul and being real

That’s like Yngwie M. I couldn’t give a flying fuck about his abilities whatsoever. I hate guitar players who play that fast. Sweeping etc. doesn’t impress me at all. Doesn’t have soul. It’s just showing off! It sux to me. I’d prefer a song with just power chords and a catchy chorus with good lyrics. Ramones, Motörhead.

I always say Phil Campbell is most underrated guitarist, because it's true.
@keefriff998 жыл бұрын
+Chillton It's funny, Phil actually got better and better as the years went on. I think his best work, by far, has been over the last 10 years with Motorhead. You can't say that about many musicians...most of them come on strong and then coast on their reputation and fade creatively, while Phil played stronger recently than he ever did in the '80s and '90s.
@Chillton8 жыл бұрын
+keefriff99 indeed. I mean his live solos, and his work on Bad Magic is fantastic. But with Bad Magic it's incredibly melodic album. On Sympathy for the devil cover, it feels like even drums are melodic.
@grahamcollinson59858 жыл бұрын
+Chillton I totally agree. Mr Campbell is simply fantastic. I love how he plays, his sound. He is world class. I hope the world will give him that some day

There just good straight forward hard dirty rock. There not going out of there way to try to impress you with over done solos and going on wild rant's about what ever. I don't go to a concert to here your opinion on things (like asshole Rose does) I like there interviews because Than I here there what they think about stuff. I love hearing Lemmys philosophies on everything he just tells it how it is and there is a lot of experience backing what he says up Plus they didn't sale out over charge you for merchandise they want to make a living but don't want to fuck there fans over.
