Motörhead - Thunder & Lightning Official Fan Video (40th Anniversary Contest)

9 жыл бұрынThrough July and August of 2015, Motörhead staged a contest calling out to fans all over the wörld to record themselves rocking out to their new track 'Thunder & Lightning' from the record 'Bad Magic'.
The idea was to put together a music video - for the fans, by the fans. And this is it, the outcome ... the final Thunder & Lightning fan music video! We hope you enjoy it and that you can rock out with the Motörheads featured in the video \m/
A big thank you goes out to all involved, especially to every Motörhead that took part in the competition by submitting videos, featured or not, and for making this idea come to life. YOU ROCK!

Hey. No problem :) Yes. I saw them live in 2011 - The World is Yours Tour. Generally, the age allowed for concerts here in Brazil is 16 yrs old. But I was 14 at the time.

Just an fyi. Lemmy always said that Motorhead were only ever a rock band and not a "Heavy metal" band. If metal wants to take that from them/him so be it, but Lemmy would be thinking otherwise 8)

Their last 3 albums were almost as good as anything they ever did. Astonishing really. Aftershock and Bad Magic are an incredible end to one of the best ever

Fucked me up hearing he died man, pure loved that cat.... Blessed Be mate. Bin a huge fan since Silver Machine in 72 - was 11 then. I was lucky nuff to have seen Hawkwind & Motörhead many, many times - changed my life & many others too......... Brained out, total amnesia.

"Thunder & Lightening" was as well the name of the last Thin Lizzy LP (1983) with leader Phil Lynott (r.i.p). At the same time (early 1983) ex-Thin Lizzy guitarist Brian Robertson joined Motorhead as lead guitarist for their "Another Perfect Day" LP... but the association did not last long... Lemmy writes, "Brian's fashion sense continued to shock and horrify fans throughout the tour of Europe at the end of the year. Let's face it, shirts or ballet shoes and Motörhead it do not mix!"
