Moterm's new veg tanned planners in Apricot, Honey, & Forest, & comparing diff colored covers

Күн бұрынHello! Today, I am unboxing my huge Moterm haul. I kind of deliberated on this haul because I didn't want to take away planner covers from people who weren't able to snag one during the release. I didn't order these at the same time and actually ordered my second haul (the apricot & forest) thirteen days after I ordered the honey cover. It also doesn't help that I ordered three ADDITIONAL Moterm planner covers that I'm too embarrassed to share/admit 😅 but hope this color comparison was helpful!!
I compared the honey & apricot to Moterm's burnt orange and their discontinued litchee brown. I also compared the two covers to my Chic Sparrow Emma, so you can have a better idea of what color you'd want. I also compared my forest cover to Chic Sparrow's Sequoia. You can get any texture or combo of textures with any of the leathers. The honey is not always smooth and apricot not always textured etc. natural leather always has a variation of texture. Lovely…thanks for sharing.

After picking up a few of Moterm’s veg tanned leather planners I actually feel quite silly about how much I’ve spent on my Gillios!🤦🏻♀️

Omfg honestly yeah. I don’t think I’d be able to justify a VDS or Gillio planner especially since I move covers around sooo often. I’m also seeing comparisons before Moterm & VDS/Gillios and I’m shocked by how similar they look!!

I know right?!! I mean, I still love all my Gillio’s, but dang I am obsessed with these veg tan Moterms, and I can buy 3 or more Moterms for the price of one Gillio. The only difference for me is that I can’t choose smooth or textured leather. I do like that I can actually request to see the *exact* planner I’m buying from Gillio. But is that worth 3x the price?

My apricot is smooth, clip is smooth but the fly leaf is textured

Omfg the forest is REALLY pretty! It’s a very luxurious color idk if that’s the right word but I was very surprised, but I hope you like the ones you ordered!!! I’m curious to know which one will be your fave!

I had a huge CS phase in 2017-2021 and then found apple pig, moterm, VDS, and TRC too. Beautiful planners. I hope my apricot looks like yours. I’m not understanding how everyone got theirs so quick when mine shipped first day too! 😞

No the honey isn’t always smooth. Most of them are textured that I’ve seen including mine. The smooth in all the colors are few and far between from all the pics and videos I’ve seen.

Could you help me understand the ring configuration? Yours has 6 rings without a space in the middle. Moterms website has 3 rings then a space and then 3 rings for a total of 6. I’m confused how to buy inserts. Love your video, just subscribed. Thank you!

Hi Liz! Absolutely! So, the ones I purchased are the "pocket" sized planners that use 6 rights with no gaps in the middle and uses pocket sized inserts (the dimensions are roughly 3.19” x 4.72”). The one pictured on Moterm's with the 3-gap-3 is either an A6, personal, or A5 size. I'm not sure which picture you're referring to, but the 3-gap-3 rings often come in the 3 sizes I just listed. Feel free to send me a link to the pic and I can *try* to identify it for you!! What planner size are you wanting/thinking to purchase? I'll also link a size guide from Filofax that might be helpful since Moterm follows their mini, pocket, personal, and A5 size (Filofax doesn't make A6 though): us.filofax.com/us/size-guide/ I hope that is somewhat helpful!!! @@LizBarlak Ohh gotcha! So, you would need A5 sized inserts! You can find printables or pre-printed inserts on Etsy! Filofax also sells pre-printed & cut inserts as well! If you want freebies to see how you like the A5 size, I'd recommend joining PeanutsPlannerCo's facebook group! She has a bunch of freebies to download & print yourself that I find very useful!!
