Thanks for your reaction! This is a really fun one that is overlooked. J None was a member of Voice Play at this time and this was Omar's first featured guest appearance. Omar has done quite a few covers with Voice Play since this one came out and J. None is currently active duty military making occasional appearances with Voice Play when he is available. Omar's best friend and roommate, Cesar De La Rosa, joined Voice Play when J. None left.

@WeChallenge you're so kind! She's actually, not my eldest. I have two daughters who are 22 and 25 as well! My eldest is my clone... it's actually a tad bizarre 😄 Her friends have seen pictures of me at her age and said, "When was this picture of you taken?" And she had to tell them that it was her mum 😆 Happy 4th to you my friend!

Omar has done several pieces with them, including a live show with the band Chicago last November. He is now appearing in a musical off Broadway. His voice is amazing. Great reaction, love having you both together. A friend wrote the rap, he also wrote the one J None did in Vallhall Calling.

Ironically, she's never seen the little mermaid! 😆 The older DVDs are so pricey now and they never play the "good old stuff" on Hulu or Netflix! 😭

@thisismetoday7423 Moana was one of her favorites 😍 We haven't seen Encanto either 🫣😆 She's seen SO MANY Disney movies. There's a few that were far before her time that we haven't gotten to watch together, that my older girls loved (on VHS😄) I know she would love The Little Mermaid, but buying it would be silly now that she's 16, and the boys would have zero interest 🤣 I wish they would stream some of the older ones like the original Lion King and The Little Mermaid!

The thing that amazes me about this video is the combination of Geoff and Layne doing the driving, fast almost doo-wop percussion. They are so in-synch with each other, you can really tell the difference when Geoff is singing one of his short solos and Layne carries on the beatboxing by himself - it's amazing how much difference it makes! "Oh, you're going to watch reaction videos and YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE IT!" And THAT'S Mrs. Realistic's MOM side coming into focus!

Omar was also on the voice a couple of seasons ago and was incredible! Highly recommend watching those performances. He’s got the best stage presence/charisma. Love when he comes to play with Voiceplay. They have some really good shorts with Omar too my favourites being either Amy Winehouses “Valerie” or Nirvana’s “Something in the way”

What a cool reaction ! I hope we'll see more of you both ! :) The rap part was unexpected and pretty cool (especially with the spooky voices in the background), but really like the parts where Omar and Eli were trading rifs. So good ! (Also, I think Eli could probably sing this song in his sleep, since he used to perform it with rock bands. There's an unofficial recording on Voiceplay channel, from around 2011, it's worth the watch !) With the same line up, Carry on wayward son is very good too !

That was fun to watch! I'm pretty sure this was Omar's first video with Voiceplay.. Interestingly, he's best friends with Cesar, whom we were blessed with later. I'm not sure if Omar played a part in getting Cesar to sing with Voiceplay. (Another cool connection is that Cesar was in high school with Voiceplay's seafaring buddy, Jose Rosario Jr!) Omar's pretty much an honorary member of Voiceplay. Another great one with Omar came out a couple months ago, "Sleeping In The Cold Below." 💙

Oooh, I hope you do that song I mentioned, it's cosmic! Have you done a VP song with Jose Rosario Jr. in it yet? Two great ones are "My Mother Told Me" and "Drunken Sailor." He's also in "Hoist The Colors," (he's their seafaring buddy!). I think you did that one, didn't you? Jose is quite a charming rogue!💙

@@MrsRealistic Me too. The fellow Tony Wakim was a VP baritone and The Phantom with this one, but he wanted to get into productions so Tony and Layne (beatboxer) bought the studio - Pattycake Productions. A lot of Geoff's solos and VoicePlay's video are done there.
