Yea it's very obvious she is done being their Mother and doesn't want to be around the kittens anymore. She attacked that poor kitten for absolutely no reason whatsoever. It wasn't eating or drinking and she still went after it. If Mother Cat isn't pregnant then she's just done being their mother and wants away from them. No amount of time is going to change her attitude. Cats aren't human. Also, More time spent away from the kittens will make mother cat more solitary and independent. It's simple biology. When you split up a mother cat from her kittens after they've weaned from her then she doesn't have that instinct in her that she needs to feed any longer right, and so the kittens at that point would probably be forced out. If the kittens keep trying to approach mom Cat then they'll get attacked more frequently and worse.

Poor family 😿♥️ Mama is upset and lashes out to her kittens. It looks like she has an almost healed wound above her right eye. Maybe she was abused. The boys are brave, because they want to eat. But I feel sad for the scared little girl; she looks traumatized 😿 Hope that with love and care mama will come to her senses 🙏 Love to all ♥️🍀

I feel sorry for the tabby girl hiding away in the box, but I'm sure you'd have made sure she got to eat away from mother. Mama is very upset, you may be right in thinking it's because she's been abandoned, some cats would take it to heart more than others, depending on their personality. If she's smart she may associate it with having kittens and blame them, hence the lashing out at them now that they're reasonably independent of her. However, I could be completely wrong about that! Lol.

Separate kittens from the mother. It’s very clear she doesn’t want them around her anymore. Better if you put them for adoption

The mother cat has psichological problems 😀the kitties are like children...out of the 3..one is in shock and needs therapy...one puts up with her because his goal is to eat no matter what..he is the alpha kittie...and the last one is not sure what happened to his mom...he is thinking..maybe that is just a game or mom will come to its senses..and he is hungry. Take the mom away ....as a punishment... Poor kitties! The one that keeps eating will be a fighter! If they were children, who would be your favorite? And why? I am really curious....i have my fav.!😀

Mom cat does seem a little better than yesterday. Being abandoned and then suddenly in e new place can be hard on anyone, especially with cats since they generally do not like changes in their lives. Hope she will adjust soon! I believe her kittens still love her!

😢😢 I felt so bad for the kittens i had a lot of typos sorry. I was just saying separate them from mom so she does no harm to them. It is so sad to see them scared, confused, or hiding because of her attacks 😢

Strange because she wanted them weaned but doesn't want them to eat? Sad. Please keep feeding time separate. We do not want a kitten to starve because mom is mad. Mom cat just may not be great mom material once kittens are weaned. Training them to fight for their food maybe?
