A mother has been charged with two counts of murder in the deaths of her 3-year-old twin sons after an alleged overdose in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley last week, the District Attorney's Office announced Tuesday.
The tragic incident occurred shortly after 11 a.m. on July 11, prompting emergency crews to respond to an apartment building in the 20100 block of Sherman Way.

My 2-year-old great-niece Charlie died from a drug overdose. Her parents had left drugs out😢 and she had gotten into them and convulsed to death. My younger brother Mark was devastated by the death of his grandchild. My sister was out at a sit-down restaurant with Mark, and when he got the news he collapsed, and she said he was completely inconsolable crying on the restaurant floor. 😓💔 A year and a half later he's still not the same guy. He won't speak to his son, and I believe presently Mark's son and wife, the mother of 2 year old Charlie are both, as far as I know, in prison!!😫 SAD ALL THE WAY AROUND😮

Truly tragic and yes she needs to pay for her negligence but let’s pray for her too - I’m sure she’s remorseful- addiction is no joke and does not discriminate- she needs to go to jail- it will probably save her too hopefully to get clean and she can still make a difference even from the inside but she will have tremendous guilt for a long time or forever- poor grandmother too - this is really tragic

This is so so sad. They had their entire lives and was taken. I’m so sick of this fentanyl crisis. I pray she didn’t give it to them purposely and I say that because they both got a hold of it and died. However they probably were together stuck like glue and that is why this may have happened. Everyone thinks becoming a mother is a game. You have changes that no one can prepare you for. Life becomes unbearable as a single parent which she clearly is. She was never capable of parenting and did this on purpose to reverse her responsibilities which will lead her to prison. Counseling isnt going to help her. She’s not the victim here.
