I am not Catholic but I admire Mother Dolores. She was engaged and was a Hollywood starlet. To give this life up, I will admit I couldn't do it ( I love jewelry and I tend to swear). What an amazing woman! God bless Mother Dolores❤🙏✝️

her convent is nearby. bill o'reilly is an unsavory character, but seeing her beauty, both young and in elder life, seeing her at the convent during vespers in her clerical garments, as well as all the sisters, it was beautiful and transcending. i knew these were women of great power, that goes beyond the left's ideas of "female empowerment"

I only saw her act in both Loving You and King Creole but she was a wonderful actress and one of the few leading ladies to turn down Elvis. Ann-Margret and Mary Tyler Moore were the others that come to mind

CHRIS THIS IS ACTUALLY BEFORE MY TIME BUT NOT MY UNCLES. A FRIEND OF MY UNCLES WHO STARTED OFF AS A YOUNG ACTOR MET DOLORES HART, SAID OF HER SHE WAS STUNNIG HER BLUE EYES WERE BREATHTAKING . HE SAID SOMEONE HE KNEW HAD WORKED ON THE MOVIE LISA WHICH DOLORES HART HAD DONE WITH THE ACTOR STEPHEN BOYD. HE HAD THAT HE WAS THE LOVE OF HER LIFE AND WHEN STEPHEN BOYD REJECTED HER SHE WAS DEVASTATED. THEN IRONICALLY ENTERED THE BENEDICTINE ABBEY OF REGINA LAUDIS AT 24 IN 1963. MY UNCLE SAYS HIS FRIEND IS NOT A GOSSIP BUT A VERY CREDIBLE AND HONORABLE GUY. HE SAYS THAT HE FELT VERY BAD FOR HER AND ONLY HAD GOOD THINGS TO SAY ABOUT HER. I AM SUPRISED O REILLY DIDNT TRY TO MENTION AND TRY TO STIR THAT UP I AM GLAD HE WASNT OBVIOUSLY AWARE OF THAT . ALL THE BEST TO YOU CHRIS KEEP SAFE.

I heard in a documentary that she did have a fling with elvis and she disappeared for few months and came back so think of it as u will she was in love with him something happened but don’t know how true it is x there looked like there liked each a lot if u see the photo behind the scenes with her and his mam x and elvis was very religious as well ♥️

I have read Mother Dolores Hart"s biography, The Ear of the Heart, and I have seen the Oscar nominated documentary about her, entitled God is the Bigger Elvis, several times. In both her book and documentary she clearly states that she was never romantically involved with Elvis Presley. She never even went out with him. She was actually engaged to the architect, Don Robinson, whom she abandoned to enter the Benedictine Monastery, Regina Laudis. Don Robinson never married and faithfully visited Mother Dolores at Christmas and Easter, every year until he passed away in 2011.

For heaven's sake! She didn't molest anyone! The Catholic church is not the only church or other group that has had bad members. It is a scar on the church but they are trying to rectify the situation.
