If you don’t understand : They we’re living innocently But then they started starving ever since their father died, He used to make them food and stuff, when he died They started starving, so The mother decided to be a cannibal and ate her sons to avoid them dying of food hunger, that’s why she said “You Children are the Lucky ones”. But the child ate her because she thought she was doing the wrong thing and trying to keep the best for herself, And then when he forgave her the picture went up, why? I don’t know.

Yo, seeing the mother's hatred face as she says "Mother Loves you..." as a last word, brought tears to my eyes. And the soundtrack "Mother's Sorrow" playing as well. I feel so bad at the same time. *Maaan, I gotta stop going near onions*

I know its creepy but its also sad and shows how much she loves her child, but she had only one option. And i respect the parents who work hard for us children.

What makes this all the worse. At the very end when she tries to kill you she gets cut to pieces and she tells you to eat her and you eat a bit but when you go outside it's spring. Spring really was around the corner.

If my family was in this situation I’d either come back with food or it meant I had died. Especially if I was the oldest brother. I’d cover myself in mud and dirt to hide my scent, track the deer to their bedding with their tracks and feces. Wait for them to bed. Then I would crawl across the snow slowly an inch a minute and gore them with a sharpened stick or be gored, beaten or freeze to death. But I would not come home without the food.

I love this game, it may has the most saddest ending, but it's still wonderful.

Its actually creepy and sad at the same time the mother foesnt have money and the dad idk i think left them so she had to kill her children and when shz died she told her son to eat her i actually feel so bad

Despite this game’s flaws, mainly the concept of a room full of buzz saws and the children or mother not being trained to hunt or scavenge, it’s ok. Kinda wish the original ending was finished. Where the father turns out to be alive and comes home just as the game ends. Makes it more of a tragedy.
