That’s so sweet of y’all to help your family out with gardening chores and what not. I can’t get my grand kids to help me. I think I’m going to have to get firm. He said,” I need that!” Lol. Let’s see if he remembers to water it . I know it doesn’t need a lot of water or cold. That’s how I killed all mine every year. Aye. P.S. I love my marigolds too. They mean a lot to me because of Dia de Los Muertos. My mom died when I was 19. My dad when I was 31. Sorry I’m rambling but I feel like part of your family in a way. Love sent from Tejas! 💜
